In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury.  Proverbs 14:23 King James Version

Happy Labor Day everyone!!!  Since it is Labor Day, we are going to keep this short and sweet.  The above mentioned scripture says that in all labor there is profit.  However many times when we think of profit, we think of getting a paycheck for everything we do.  But I want you to think about the profit that is in what is perceived as “free labor”.  Many times you hear people say, “I ain’t doing nothing for free!!!”  Okay, just realize it may cost you later.  How?  You must believe The Word of God!! It says, “In all labor there is profit”.  Again, even what appears to be free labor is profitable.

A lot of people are familiar or know of Sean “Diddy” Combs.  When you look at him today he is a successful entrepreneur, multimillionaire, producer and  the list goes on and on.  What many may not know is that in his beginnings, Sean started off as an intern, traveling between two cities one to go to college and the other to do his internship at a record label.  The pay if there was any (I actually heard he started off for free, but don’t know that to be fact) was probably not substantial.  However the things he did, the lessons he learned and skills he developed at that time are the foundation of who he is and what he achieved in the music industry and beyond today.  So in truth, HE WAS GETTING PAID.  His labor as an intern has netted him huge profits today.  Now I must address this.  Someone may say, “Well he is not a godly example.”  Let me address that.  First of all, I am not his judge and I do not know what is in his heart. Secondly, I pray he is saved.   What the Bible is talking about here is a principle of labor and I used him as an example of what labor can do, proving that the Bible is true.  The principles in the Bible don’t work because you are saved, they work because they are God ordained.  Work the principle and see the reward.

All the “blessed” to you!!!

So I have been thinking and I came to the conclusion that writing seven days a weeks is a bit much, soooo on the the weekend I thought we may do Truth 4 Thought.   So I am open to suggestions for the weekend. Let me know your thoughts.

Meanwhile here is this weekends Truth 4 Thought:

And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. John 1:16 King James Version

The Lord Jesus told me one time, (yes I know it was Jesus specifically), “Vincent, what you see and what you have are two different things.”  That has always stuck with me.  Sometimes we are so focused on what we don’t have, we don’t realize what we already do have.  I remember one time I was looking for my bluetooth earpiece to my cellphone.  I looked all over and in the car.  I could not find it.  I then asked my son Caleb to help me and when he came up he smiled and reached toward me and took my bluetooth headset from the collar of my sweatshirt.  It had dropped and just hooked on my collar.  I had it the whole time I was looking.  Sometimes the reason we can’t find things is because we already have them. You’re already healed.  You’re already blessed. You’re already rich just like Jesus.   The scripture says, “Of His fullness HAVE all we received and grace for grace.”  So you and I have already received of Jesus’s fullness.  Now I esteem Jesus as powerful so a little bit of Jesus can do a lot.  But what can you do with Jesus’s FULLNESS?

That’s this weekend’s TRUTH 4 THOUGHT! I challenge you to take fifteen minutes or a half hour each day of this weekend and let The Holy Ghost talk to you about what His fullness can do through you.  Have a SHALOM weekend and week. SHALOM!!!!

All the “blessed” to you!!!
