“For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16 New Living Translation

But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.  Romans 5:8 New Living Translation

Shalom! Today’s post is very interesting because I am not sure how many people really give thought to God’s Love in this way. For most people and even some Christians, we may act like we do but in a lot of cases our true thought in our carnal mind is, “I’ll love you when you become lovable.”  Thankfully, God the Father does not think like that.  The scriptures above prove and show that God loved us while we were still sinning and doing whatever we wanted to do.  He didn’t wait to send His Son to die after people act like they cared.  He did it while people couldn’t careless about Jesus and inspite of what they did and did not do.  How can God do this? Because God is Love!!  And not just any love but He operates in “Agape” Love.  Agape means unconditional love or divine love and it is not predicated on what a person does or does not do.  There is such a love as eros or erotic love which is based for the most part on sexual  love or desiring a person physically.  God gives us the best love because it is unconditional and He did this BEFORE we responded to Him at all.  So God the Father loves us and loved us even while we were yet sinners.

Now what about after we become saved and our His children.  I know He loves us but I want to show you something about this love you may have never seen before.  I know I didn’t until The Holy Spirit showed it to me one morning.

For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; His countenance doth behold the upright. Psalms 11:7 KJV

God the Father is righteous!! That just means whatever He does He does it right.  He does whats right.  Jesus is righteous.  We have been made the righteousness of God in Him (Jesus). We know God loves Jesus.  But did you know that God loves you just as much as Jesus?

I am in them and you are in Me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent Me and that You love them as much as You love Me. John 17:23 New Living Translation

God loves you as much as He loves Jesus.  The Father is righteous and Jesus is righteous and through Jesus The Father has made you righteous.

For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; Psalms 11:7 KJV

YOU ARE RIGHTEOUS and the righteous Lord LOVETH righteousness.  So this is one more confirmation how much God the Father loves us.  He is righteous so that means He loves Himself.  Jesus is righteous so that means He loves Jesus.  You have been made righteous thru Jesus Christ so that means He loves you!!!  The righteous Lord LOVETH righteousness.  It is a powerful revelation.  The Word tells us to love our neighbors as ourself.  When you love your neighbor you will want them to become righteous too and enjoy all the benefits of righteousness just like you because the righteous love righteousness.  So there is nothing wrong with wanting to be completely healed and whole and not just you but your family and friends and co-workers.  Being healed IS RIGHTEOUSNESS!!! Being prosperous IS RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!  Being at peace IS RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!

The righteous Lord loveth righteousness!! The Father loves you being healed, whole, blessed, prosperous.  He loves it and you should too.

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!
