TRUTH 4 THOUGHT WEEKEND EDITION-SHOW UNQUALIFIED COURTESY TO EVERYONE!!!

Remind people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready and willing to do good, 2 to slander or abuse no one, to be kind and conciliatory and gentle, showing unqualified consideration and courtesy toward everyone. Titus 3:1-2 Amplified Bible

Take sometime to read and meditate this scripture because its a doozy.  I will be the first to admit and cry out, “Lord help me!!!”  Why?  Cause people are a TRIP!! And they do things sometimes deliberately to you and sometimes undeliberately but if you are honest sometimes you still wanna “get ’em”.  You wanna lay hands on them if you know what I mean.  And yes I am talking about believers having these thoughts. Now for all you super Christians who never have a bad thought or desire I am gonna let my silence speak for you. Sometimes maybe now or in the past you may have wanted people to get what they deserved but thank God that Poppa and Jesus are not like that and AS HE IS SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD!!!  So we can do it! We can look over a suffered wrong and keep right on loving and being kind and courteous.  The Word says I can so I don’t care about what I think or how I’ve acted in the past to the contrary.  You don’t measure The Word by your experience you measure The Word by The Word. So believe the Word and soon you will be acting and responding to the most contentious situations just like Jesus!!!  Amen!  We can do it because the Love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Ghost.

All the “blessed” to you! Shalom!!!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT REDEMPTION – PART 2

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14 King James Version

Yesterday, we took a look at redemption and we defined it and found out some of the primary things that we are redeemed from.  These things are poverty, sickness and death.  But there are also some other things that you may find interesting that we are redeemed from.  As promised, I will also be sharing with you some of the things that we are redeemed to.  One of the things we are redeemed from is a lack of knowledge.  Most people know the scripture in Hosea that states my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.  So how does this particular redemption take place?  Because just like we no longer have to concern ourselves with trying to become righteous, wisdom is now a part of the package deal that comes with Jesus Christ.  Let’s look at the scripture that shows us this.

It is because of God that you are in union with the Messiah Jesus, who for us has become wisdom from God, as well as our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.  I Corinthians 1:30 International  Standard Version

So from this scripture we see that God through Christ has not only made us righteous but He has made us wise, and sanctified us and redeemed us.  Now I want you to think about something as it pertains to wisdom.  Many of us believe we ARE the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  We believe that we are righteous right here and right now.  Let’s look at the reason we believe that in addition to I Corinthian 1:30.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.  2 Corinthians 5:21 King James Version

So this scripture tells us we have been made the righteousness of God in Him(Christ).  We confess and believe that. I normally confess daily that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.    Well I Corinthians 1:30 says Jesus has become for us wisdom.  In light of that we need to be confessing that Christ has become for me wisdom and that we are redeemed from ignorance and unwise decisions.  When you look at Jesus, He was never caught off guard or in the dark in any situation.  Why? Because He has wisdom from God and that scripture says He has become the same wisdom from God for us.   Something can be yours but until you claim it and exercise your rights to it it will not be of any value or use to you.  So being bought out of ignorance and darkness are a part of our redemption package in addition to righteousness and sanctification which is being set apart for a special use.

Now I want to show you something that The Holy Ghost showed me personally. I never heard it from a preacher, I just happened to be studying one day on our opening text and I saw this as clear as day.  Let’s take a look at our opening text again.

Look at the beginning of the scripture, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,..”.    If you read Deuteronomy 28 verses 15 thru 68, all the curses are listed there and then some.  It is a horrible list and I thank God we are redeemed from that list.  You should take the time to read it to make sure none of it is illegally operating in your life.   But I do not want to focus on that right now.  Many times you can get fresh revelation from God thru Jesus by way of the Holy Spirit by paying attention not only to what The Word is saying but also by what The Word is not saying.  Allow me to explain.  The scripture in Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of he law.., but did you ever notice that there is no where in The Word that says, “Christ has redeemed us from the blessings of the law“?????

Oh this is good. Some critics will say, “Well you say you are not under the law (and we are not) then you can’t have any of it. Good, I don’t want the law if thats not what God has for me but I will take THE BLESSING(S).  You see Christ never did redeem us from the blessings of the law only the curse of the law.  So THE BLESSING(S) are still yours!!!!  Glory to God!!!  Let’s prove that.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  Ephesians 1:3 New American Standard Bible

So God through Christ has blessed us with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.  Now don’t let that “spiritual blessing in heavenly places” throw you off.  It’s not spiritual that you can’t touch or get or access until you get to heaven.  The word spiritual there is the greek word pneumatikos  which means belonging to the Spirit, or emanating from the Divine Spirit.  Where does wisdom emanate from?  The Holy Spirit from Christ and we just shared that Christ is made unto you wisdom right here and right now.  So this is not blessings you cannot use until heaven.  This means that EVERY spiritual blessing including the blessings of the Old and New Testament which falls under THE BLESSING of Abraham which is mentioned in Galatians 3:13-14.

The benefits that come with redemption are powerful, and not only are they powerful but they are ETERNAL.

He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.  Hebrews 9:12 New International Version

So not only do you have redemption through Jesus’s blood but ETERNAL REDEMPTION.  The word eternal there is the greek word aionios which means age-long, unending, inside of time, outside of time and beyond time. Your redemption is eternal so you can be confident, bold and at complete peace because of Christ.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Colossians 1:14 King James Version

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT REDEMPTION-PART 1

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  Galatians 3:13-14 King James Version

Redemption is such a beautiful word and act, especially when you dig into its origin and true meaning.  It  is a word and definition that every believer and unbeliever should know.  The word of Gods tells us in Psalms 107:2 to let the redeemed of the Lord say so.  But let’s look at another version of this scripture to give us more light.

Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story– those he redeemed from the hand of the foe Psalm 107:2 New International Version Let those who have been redeemed by the LORD declare it— those whom he redeemed from the power of the enemy, Psalm 107:2 International Standard Version

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy; Psalm 107:2 King James Version Now I left the last version of Psalm 107:2  unbolded for a reason.  The King James Version is the version most believers are familiar with.  It says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…….”.  I want you to see that the word so is in italics which means it was not there originally but was added for clarity.  But it tends to take away from the true meaning.  When you take away the word ‘so’, it goes to a comma then makes another statement.  It’s almost like the Holy Ghost said, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say ___________, whom  He has redeemed from the power of the enemy.”  And really that is what is supposed to happen.  Now, God is the most purposeful being on the planet and He does not do anything without a reason or a purpose.  So in order for you to fill that blank in you would have to know what the Lord has redeemed you from specifically.  Now I know that the rest of the scripture says, “whom He has redeemed from the power of the enemy, however that is very general. Let me ask you, are the things that happen in your life that affect you the greatest very general or very specific?  In most cases they are very specific.  So when you know the things that you are redeemed from it gives you a greater level of boldness and confidence because when something happens you can quickly identify and say, “No I am redeemed from sickness!!”  Before we go into some of the things you are redeemed from we should first make sure we understand what the word redeemed means.  The word redeemed comes from the Hebrew word exagorazó which means to buy up, ransom, to rescue from loss.  It is actually two words the first being ek which means “completely out from” which intensifies agorázō which means to “buy-up at the marketplace”) – properly, take full advantage of, seizing a buying-opportunity, i.e. making the most of the present opportunity (recognizing its future gain). Let’s say you went to a car dealer and you heard they were going to stop selling GM Hummer H2’s (which they have).  Let’s say I am a billionaire with a strong affinity for Hummer H2’s and I decide I am going to buy every single H2 on the market that is in production.   Once I have done that, if someone shows up who wants to buy a Hummer H2 they cannot get one.  Why?  Because they have been bought completely off the market.  They are no longer available for purchase.  If someone desires one they have to come and see me and maybe I will sell them one for a small phenomenal fee. LOL.  Well this is what Jesus did when He redeemed us.  He bought us completely off of and out of the market of sin and death and all the things that are associated with it.  If the enemy wants a to buy a piece of you He has to go to Jesus and guess what?  JESUS AIN’T SELLING!!!      That means that sin, death, the curse and all the things that Jesus Christ has redeemed us from cannot affect you any longer legally.  Let’s revisit our opening text.

So we see here that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.  The curse of the law involves three primary areas that include poverty, sickness and death.  So you are redeemed from poverty in all of its ways shapes and form which include lack and shortage.  You are redeemed from sickness and that means all sickness and all disease including germs and viruses.  Lets see what God the Father said about poverty and sickness so you can know what is yours.

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want (the word want there means lack) Psalm 23:1 King James Version The LORD will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt,…….  Deuteronomy 7:15  New International Version He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”  Exodus 15:26 New Living Translation

Now please understand in the Old Testament, you had to be obedient in order for the Lord to bless and heal you and provide for you.   In the New Testament JESUS has fulfilled all the law for us and we get the benefit  of all that He has done.  Because Jesus was obedient, His obedience gets credited to our account just like His righteousness.  We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. On our own we have NO RIGHTEOUSNESS.  It is extremely important to understand what we just went over so that the enemy or a uninformed preacher does not talk you out of the finished work of Christ. Lastly Jesus has also redeemed you from death. Death here is eternal death or spiritual death which is eternal separation from God.  Death does not have any authority over you. Do you mean I can control when I die. YES you can!!  In Christ Jesus you already died and since you died once death has no authority or power over a dead person. Let me ask you this, if a mosquito with HIV bites a dead person, what affect will it have on that dead person?  NONE!! They are already dead.  Death gets it power through sin.   The Word of God says we have been freed from sin. I know it sounds crazy and spooky and ghostly but it’s not.  IT’S DA TRUTH!!!!

Knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin.  Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.   Romans 6:6-9  New American Standard Bible

You may wanna read that again.  It’s a lotta TRUTH to digest.  You are IN CHRIST! Since Christ has been raised from the dead and you were raised with Him, He is never to die again and death no longer is master over Him and since you are in Him death is no longer master over YOU!! So you have been redeemed from the curse of the law of poverty, sickness and death in all of its ways shapes and forms. When I say all of its way, shapes and forms do you know what I mean?  You need to because death takes many shapes before it gets a person to the shape of laying still in a coffin.  Did you know that chronic fatigue is a form of death. Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not saying being tired is a form of death, Jesus Himself was tired at times and needed rest as we all do. I am talking about being tired all the time.  Waking up tired.  That’s a form of death. Something is constantly trying to sap a person’s energy.  But you know now that Christ has bought you out of that legally.  But legal rights must be exercised.  Let me ask you a question.  Is it illegal for people to break into other peoples homes?  Of course it is.  But do people still do it?  Yes!!  Same thing here.  You have a legal right to be free from sin and death everyday every single second of the day but the enemy will still try to come illegally and steal your health, life, energy, finances etc.. So what do you do?  You fill in the blank that we talked about earlier.  “Let the redeemed of the Lord say “I am redeemed from chronic fatigue!!! I am redeemed from debt and lack!!! I am redeemed from sickness and disease!!!”  Because your words are God’s Word, they must be obeyed. And you need to know that you are redeemed from destruction and terror.

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;  Psalm 103:4  King James Bible Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.  Psalm 91: 5-7 King James Version

We will finish this up tomorrow. Don’t miss it because you need to know that there is not only somethings you have been redeemed from, but there is also somethings you have been redeemed to.

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT REDEMPTION BENEFITS FOR YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” Galatians 3:13 New Living Translation

As a believer, there are so many benefits that we HAVE because of the finished and redeeming work of Christ. It is worthwhile for us to know what these are. I used to read the book of Deuteronomy 28 and I would read about all the blessings. I did not like reading about the curses, they were ugly and nasty and cruel and abhorrent. I didn’t want to know about them. But it is a good thing to know your enemy AFTER you know that he is defeated and that JESUS IS LORD of ALL!!!! Why do I say this? Because there could be something going on in your life that is spiritually and naturally illegal but you are unaware that it is illegal. The only way you will know is if you find out. I often use this example but everyone knows it is illegal to break into someone else’s home but people still do it. The devil is the same way. Jesus has already won the day so we are NEVER fighting FOR VICTORY. We always fight FROM VICTORY. Jesus whipped the devil and then gave the victory to us. How successful can you be when you are fighting a defeated foe? As successful as Jesus in every area of your life. This applies to our children as well. You may not know what the Bible says in regards to your children but please know this: The Bible is The Word Who is Jesus and He has given to us all things pertaining to life and godliness. You do not have to allow satan to have his way in the life of your child because as a righteous person Poppa, God the Father has made specific promises to you regarding your own safety and the safety and peace of your family. Now there are evil things mentioned under the curse of the law that can happen to people’s children but not to a believer who knows their rights and exercises those right in The Name of Jesus. The Name of Jesus BELONGS to every believer as a part of their eternal inheritance and them being a joint heir with Jesus. Everything that belongs to Jesus now belongs to you. How much does Jesus have? Everything that Poppa, God the Father has.

All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.” John 16:15 NIV

So lets take a look at two specific areas that are listed in the curse of the law so that you can know what your children and you as a child of God are redeemed from.

Your children and your crops will be cursed. Deuteronomy 28:18 NLT You will watch as your sons and daughters are taken away as slaves. Your heart will break for them, but you won’t be able to help them. Deuteronomy 28:32 NLT

So this scripture which is in the Old Testament and is part of the curse of the law of which Galatians 3:13 says you ARE REDEEMED from says that this person’s children will be cursed and their crops. Verse 32 goes on to say in Deuteronomy that their sons and daughters will be taken away as slaves (slaves to imprisonment, slaves to captivity to drugs and other things). The curse goes on to reveal that the parent’s heart will break for them but that they will be powerless to help them. I tell you what, if you are a believer that scripture is NOT talking about YOU!!! Ohhhhhhh no! You are the redeemed! You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Look at what God’s Word says to you who are righteous.

All your children will be taught by the LORD, and your children will have unlimited peace. Isaiah 54:13 God’s Word Translation

A few verses down it says:

But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the LORD; their vindication will come from me. I, the LORD, have spoken! Isaiah 54:17 New Living Translation

So you see God said all your children will be taught not just about the Lord but BY THE LORD Himself and great will be the peace of your children even to an unlimited level. Verse 17 goes on to say that no weapon formed against you will succeed. If someone attacks your child they are in essence attacking you. If someone tries to murder you they are trying to murder your children as well. How? By taking away their mother or father and bringing them into grief and pain and destruction and possibly causing the children to blame and turn away from God or never turn to Him by blaming Him for what happened to their parents. This happens more than you know and it is an ancient tactic of the devil. You and your family are connected. You may not even like them but that still does not change your connection. Do you know that God the Father may not like everything you do but He still loves you and you are still His son or daughter? If something happens to you it will affect God the Father Himself. How do I know this. Because of Jesus’s relationship with God the Father and therefore my relationship. You better believe God the Father was not happy when Jesus was beat and spit upon but He knew the good that it would work. Nothing happened to Jesus until it was time. Well maybe its my children’s time. NEVER. Jesus already bore that. Do not turn around and allow your children to bear sickness, disease, drug addiction, abuse or anything else Jesus bore. You are redeemed!!!! Exercise the power and authority over the devil. BELIEVE WHAT JESUS SAID!!!! TAKE WHAT HE HAS GIVEN YOU!!!

Look, I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; nothing will ever harm you. Luke 10:19 Holman Christian Standard Bible

So in the Name of Jesus whatever is going on in your child’s life declare, “I BREAK THE POWER OF THE devil in _______ life and command him to cease and desist with any plans or operations in the life of my child. I declare my child belongs to the Kingdom of God Almighty and great is the peace of my child!! Amen! That’s it! It’s a done deal. Do not vacillate, do not worry about what you see. Do not worry if it ‘looks like’ they keep doing drugs. Jesus’s Name is above every name and the victory is won and that situation is done. Cast the care of it on Jesus because you have already used your king/priest power. The devil knows who you are and more importantly Whose you are. You belong to JESUS and satan has to obey. Don’t let time pull you into the natural. God is not bound by time. He’s bound by His Word that you have spoken so REST!!!! Now understand, you do not have authority over a persons will and there is still a natural component to this. They have to desire to be free. If they do now you have the legal right to break the power of the devil in their lives. You have authority over demonic spirits but not human spirits. You may need to get the person help in the form of rehab or other things but deal with the root first which is always spiritual.

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!!!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT “IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING” – PART 4

Love never fails I Corinthians 13:8 New International Version

(Love) Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; I Corinthians 13:5 KJV

I believe it would be good for us to focus on one aspect of Love as described in the King James Version of the fifth verse where it states (Love) thinketh no evil. This is BIG!!! Did I mention that this is BIG? Okay let me say it again. This is BIG!!! There is a scripture in the book of Jeremiah.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

I was meditating this scripture one day and the Lord spoke to me on the inside and told me something I will never forget. He said to me, “Vincent, one of the reasons (not the main reason) I do not think bad thoughts about you is because if I did, I am so powerful that even my thoughts would manifest.” I really took that to heart and have kept it tucked away to help me as a parent and as a person. Now I know the main reason that God does not think bad or negative thoughts towards us is because of The Blood of Jesus has removed our sins completely and God promised He would not remember them anymore and I believe that. I encourage you to believe that too. But its interesting to see how powerful even the thoughts of God are. It also helps to know that His good and peaceful thoughts are manifesting towards me even now and I believe that and that is how we receive them. But this does not just teach me about God the Father, this also shows me myself because I am His child. Lets get back to the fifth verse of I Corinthians 13. (Love) thinketh no evil. We are New Testament believers. We are not under the Old Testament and we are not under the law. It may seem like God(Love) used to think evil in the Old Testament by many of the things that you see that are described and happened to people.

What you have to understand is that the evil things that happened to people then that were of God were in some cases punishment and in some cases justice. This evil people brought on themselves by breaking the law. It’s no different from the law system we have in place. Under the law if you do good you get good but if you do bad you get bad. Such is not so today and all praise to God the Father and Jesus! Because of Jesus (Love) thinketh no evil. Now once again many people and preachers have said and teach that sex and drugs and drinking is evil. I don’t have time to focus on the so-called “big sins” that some of these people always try to use. I would rather bring to light some of the evils that are often kept in the dark such as financial lack, sickness, sadness, depression, poverty, family dysfunction, failure mentality and a few others. In the Garden of Eden, we all know that none of the aforementioned things existed. The curse came as a result of Adam disobeying God the Father and then those things begin their manifestation.

The scripture in I Corinthians 13:5 says (Love) thinketh no evil. This is an evil world in the natural and spiritual. But The Word of God tells us that we are in the world but we are not of this world. As a result of this and the truth that love thinketh know evil, we should not be thinking evil thoughts. Naturally they will come to your mind but we should not be meditating them, entertaining them or feeding them. What happens when you feed a little baby? It grows up get bigger and gets stronger. This is how what started off as a thought becomes what is called a stronghold. A stronghold is an area of your mind or thinking where you have allowed that thought, or discipline to become an unconscious way of doing things to the point that you do it and think it without really thinking about it. Please believe me I am not condemning you this is meant to be constructive and has everything to do with our success in the things of God and our families, jobs, businesses and everyday lives. Please allow me to show you what I mean by getting back to our opening text.

Love never fails I Corinthians 13:8 New International Version

I have heard some people say that failure is a good thing and I have heard others say that failure is a bad thing. I understand both points but at the same time I don’t put anything above the Lord or above The Word. I had to correct my own self about this when I saw it recently. So let’s go with The Word of God. What man says about failure does not really matter. When I see that God is Love and then I see that Love NEVER fails I am going to go with LOVE. As I was sitting meditating on this chapter of I Corinthians 13, I realized that God is the Author of the quote, “FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION”. And if you know God at all you know that He has never failed. It may look like He failed or it may look like He’s failing but God (Love) never fails. The issue is do you know and believe THE LOVE?

And we will pickup right there on Monday.  Remember IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!!!

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT “IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING” – PART 3

Love never fails I Corinthians 13:8 New International Version

Do you realize that you can do the impossible with Love? Stop for one minute and really think about that. People spend a lot of time and money trying to figure out how they can do things that men see and say are impossible. Believers and unbelievers alike pursue these things not realizing that what they seek is readily available to them each and every single day. The real issue is their attention and focus is simply pointed in the wrong direction. Many times the thought is, “If I could just get enough money or if I could get that new job everything would be great!” The truth is it’s not what you have, it’s WHO you have.

For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 1:37 KJV

God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. I John 4:16 New Living Translation
So if you are a believer, God is with you. And if you are not a believer, you can have God with you in 3 seconds by declaring, “Jesus I receive You and Your finished work!” Jesus is the way to The Father. And once you accept that way God is with you and nothing is impossible. Now in a lot of cases many ministers would say don’t worry about the how, just believe and that is true. Focusing on the how can sometimes be a distraction if you focus there. But The Word of God tells us in the book of Proverbs that in all our getting get understanding. So how about we get some understanding on this. The first and main reason you and every person saved or unsaved should know and understand as to how and why God the Father does things is because of LOVE. LOVE is powerful because Love is God or God is Love. When we take the various truths of The Word of God and examine them, it really becomes quite clear how and why Love is so powerful and how with Love(God) all things are possible. Lets take a look at Love in the famous love chapter I Corinthians 13.

I Corinthians 13 J.B. Phillips Translation

4 This love of which I speak is slow to lose patience—it looks for a way of being constructive. It is not possessive: it is neither anxious to impress nor does it cherish inflated ideas of its own importance.

5-6 Love has good manners and does not pursue selfish advantage. It is not touchy. It does not keep account of evil or gloat over the wickedness of other people. On the contrary, it is glad with all good men when truth prevails.

7-8a Love knows no limit to its endurance, no end to its trust, no fading of its hope; it can outlast anything. It is, in fact, the one thing that still stands when all else has fallen.

That indeed is a mouthful or a headful or however you have just ingested it. So much has just been said in those four short verses. Let’s deconstruct this with the help of the Helper, The Holy Ghost, and get all the nutrients out of what has just been said. The fourth verse speaks of how Love(God) is slow to lose patience and has sought out ways to be constructive or beneficial to us as people in general, not just believers. It then goes on to focus on how love has nothing to do with selfishness and how it is not concerned primarily with what people think of them nor does it operate in a conceited way about herself. Now this bears some attention as many people and preachers paint a picture of a God Who is completely selfish and possibly what would be classified in human terms as an ego maniac. This false ‘god’ they paint a picture of is the one sitting on the throne with a lightning bolt waiting to catch you doing one thing wrong so he can fry you accordingly. Let me assure you, nothing could be further from the truth. This directly opposes the patience and love described in the fourth verse. So when you see God described in this way be sure to take that misinformation and store it somewhere useful, like the trash bin and don’t forget to empty it. Verses five and six expound even further regarding how unselfish Love(God) is. Let’s look at it in a different version of the Bible

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; I Corinthians 13:5 KJV

So we see here that Love(God) is not easily provoked. That means that love is not irritable, touchy, behaving like a child that does not gets its way. In addition we see here the maturity of God the Father and how His Love in us can mature us and cause us to overcome our selfish and irritable human tendencies when we realize that we are God’s (Love’s) very own children. The same characteristics and traits and abilities and powers that are in God the Father are in us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Do you see however that it also says, “seeketh not her own” in the verse? That means that Jesus is not going to force you to walk in His character even if you are born again because Love has the utmost respect for people and their free will. Jesus in you by way of the Holy Spirit will help you. The Holy Spirit is described as the Helper but He will not force you because He is not seeking His own way. We all miss it but when we understand Love and the will of Love and yield to it, it makes us failure proof.

Be sure to join us tomorrow and all week as we continue with this series.  It will be well worth your investment of time and attention as well as empower you with the attitude that IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.

All the “blessed” to you!!!

JUST DA TRUTH-ABOUT “IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING” – Part 2

And Jesus said to him, ‘If thou art able to believe! All things are possible to the One that is believing;’ Mark 9:23 Young’s Literal Translation

Yesterday we talked a lot about believing.  And today we are going to talk about …… wait for it …. BELIEVING!!!  Believing is the genesis of impossible.  When you look at the planet, outer space and the universe and think about the truth that everything we see came from words or THE WORD, most people think “That’s impossible!”.  But that is the whole point.  For the most part, I don’t think and I don’t want to think the way most people think.  My goal is to think like God.  I have a book entitled, “Thinking Like God is the Everything That Makes Impossible Nothing”.  How does God think?  He thinks nothing is impossible and the reason why He thinks that way is because He believes.  And if He had to concern Himself with time then He would be believing 24 hours a day seven days a week 365 days of the years.  If you called God and He answered the phone and you asked what are you doing, I know two things He would say.  “I’m loving people and believing.”  To be honest God really could answer, “‘I’m just being Me (LOVE) and doing what I do (BELIEVING).

(Love) Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things.  Love never fails.  I Corinthians 13: 7-8  KJV

This scripture sheds a lot of light on how to think like God the Father. God is Love.  Love believes all things.  Do you realize that the very world you live in and the very air you breath is only there because God believes?  And because you believe in God and in His Son Jesus you can do impossible things.  Don’t take my word for it, take The Word for it from The Word Himself: JESUS!!!

Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen.  Matthew 21:21 New Living Translation

I want to take the time to break apart this scripture and really examine what Jesus says in the scripture.  First of all, Jesus never lies.  So for Him to begin a scripture with, “I tell you the truth” this is something we need to pay very close attention too.  The next portion of the scripture says that if you have faith and don’t doubt.   Let talk about faith for a moment.  The word faith there is the greek word pistis.  Pistis mean faith, belief, trust, confidence.  Pistis in the Strongs definition is always a gift from God, and never something that can be produced by people. In short, pistis (“faith”) for the believer is “God’s divine persuasion” – and therefore distinct from human belief (confidence), yet involving it. The Lord continuously births faith in the yielded believer so they can know what He prefers.

Now the next thing after faith is doubt.  I am going to say something that is going to sound strange.  As much as you understand faith you need to also understand doubt. You need to know what it is so you can know if you are operating in it.  If not, you may be walking thru your saved life for 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 years wondering why things are not happening believing that you are in faith.  So what does it really mean to doubt.  The word doubt there is the greek word diakrino.  Diakrino means to judge or distinguish or to make a difference. Let’s break it down even further to the two words it’s composed of dia and krino.  The word dia means to go thoroughly back and forth.  The word krino means to judge.  So when you put them together diakrino means to judge back and forth or to distinguish or make a difference.  Let’s say a person is a believer and one day that believer happen to get the symptom of a headache.  The believer quickly declares, “By Jesus stripe I am healed”, and the headache quickly goes away.

But lets say the same believer the next week gets test results from the doctor and they are diagnosed with some disease that the doctor says is possibly terminal.  The believer quickly again declares, “By Jesus stripe I am healed”.   But after a few days and talking to a couple of people who began to cry and talk about how serious the disease is, the believer then begins to question or doubt whether they will be healed.  In the meantime the same believer again gets symptoms of a headache.  Again they quickly exercise their faith, declare God’s Word over the headache and it soon disappears.  A few weeks pass by and more symptoms of the disease begin to manifest and the believer becomes worried.  What has happened?    That believer has diakrinoed.  They have vacillated between I believe I am healed and am I going to get healed.  They have made a difference between the headache and the so-called terminal disease.  The truth is there is no difference between a headache and Ebola to God.  The same power that heals and removes a headache is the exact same power the heals and removes the Ebola virus.  By believing all the time in the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus that makes you free from the law of sin and death and that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, the Ebola virus can never even touch you.

Doubt can operate the same way when it come to finances.  A bill comes in for fifty dollars the believer is not concerned.  But then their daughter calls them and explains an unplanned college tuition fee of $5000 and the believer begins to get worried and agitated constantly thinking, “What am I going to do?” instead of asking, “What has Jesus already done about this?”  We have all been there.  However our goal should be to never go there again.  Make a decision to get off the two lane high way of belief and doubt and take the one way road to ‘ONLY BELIEVE’ and never get off.  There is an easy way to do this.  Find out WHO YOU ARE!!!  You ARE a believer! I am a man.  I do not wake up and think one day that I am a woman.  (And this is not a crack or attack on people or persons who think they are something other than what they were born as)  I am speaking truthfully from my own experience. I am a man. I do not, have not and will not wake up one day with a thought that I am a woman.  It’s not happening! I am fully persuaded, convinced and believe that I am a man.  My heart tells me so, my demeanor tells me so and my genitalia tells me so.  You must be that convinced about who and what you are so that you can believe all the time.

God’s Word never changes and He is faithful.  God is Love and Love believes.  I am born of Love and I believe!  I am a believer therefore IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!!!

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH- ABOUT “IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING” – Part 1

And Jesus said to him, ‘If thou art able to believe! All things are possible to the One that is believing;’   Mark 9:23  Young’s Literal Translation

What makes “all things possible?”  According to Jesus, simply believing.  But what is “believing”?  Believing is believing.  I know that sounds weird but it is true.  Believing is believing and only believing.  It is not believing and doubting at the same time.   Now don’t allow what I just said or what anyone says to discourage you from ‘believing that you believe.’  Why?  Because you may have doubt in your head at the start but really believe in your heart and this is where believing is done.  The Word of God says so.

For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.  Romans 10:10  New American Standard Bible

So starting off, believing with your heart is how you get saved which is the greatest of all miracles.  So every other miracle can be obtained that way and actually is easier.  Have you ever thought about what it means and takes for you to have become and be a believer?  First you have to believe that a God and Father whom you cannot see physically right now exist and is.  Not only that but that He has a Son who He sent to Earth over 2000 years ago in a human and flesh and blood body for the purpose of dying for the sins and wrongs doings of EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has ever lived or will live.  Then after Jesus died, that same God raised Him from the dead, making Him the first human person ever to be BORN AGAIN and by believing in that same person Jesus and in His Name that you too then went through the same death and resurrection and are now born again and you are an entirely new creation that never existed before.  All that in spite of physically you may look the same and feel the same as you were before being born again.

If you ever doubt your ability to believe you should reflect on this which you already believe and let it encourage you.  Always keep in mind though that this is all by God’s grace and faith and even these things are not coming from you as a source, they are a gift from God.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.  Ephesians 2:8  New Living Translation

God the Father is so kind, so loving, that He not only prepared and provided Jesus but then He turned around and gave you the ability to believe, receive and trust Him.  That is GRACE as opposed to the law.  The law says, “Do this, obey this, receive this!”, and never lifts a finger to help you do it.  If you try to keep the law you are on your own.  But GRACE (which is Jesus) supplies and helps you and provides that which you need to believe.  GRACE SUPPLIES.

So if you have been given the ability to believe and you believe in a God and Father you cannot physically see and in an act you did not physically witness, the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ His Son and that the same thing has happened to you then you are indeed A BELIEVER.  So many people and preachers get caught up in doing and teaching ‘works’ and doing this and that for God instead of focusing on what God has done for them through Christ  Jesus that they never get to enjoy what The Father has done through Jesus Christ.  I tell you the truth, you don’t do works to show who you are.  When you understand that your believing is work you will stop doing work to prove or show that you believe to yourself and other people.  That is legalism and the law.  Jesus said this specifically when people around him saw the things that He did and then asked Him what should they do to work the works of God.

Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the One he has sent.”  John 6:29 New Living Translation

When a believer functions this way, works and miracles are the result and come forth effortlessly because it is not them it is JESUS!!!  And JESUS is the everything that makes impossible nothing!!!

Stay with us all week as we will continue this topic the entire week and perhaps the entire month.  It’s time for you to believe and know that “IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!!!”

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT ALL THINGS BECOMING NEW

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

It’s 2017!  Wow!   I remember in 1986 being in high school wondering would there be flying cars by now and other stuff.  Then I realized  recently the reason why there are none yet is because I never tried to make what I saw and thought  a reality.  With all the apps and inventions and IPhones and EPhones and tablets that are out its amazing to see what people once thought was impossible is now in our hands.  We should not be surprised by this because God the Father said this would happen.

“Look!” he said. “The people are united, and they all speak the same language. After this, nothing they set out to do will be impossible for them!   Genesis 11:6 New Living Translation

Pretty much all that man sets out to do he eventually accomplishes.  Whether its evil or good.  Many great inventions are made by Jewish people and that is great!! They believe what God said, that He would bless all the work of their hands.  They believe in the blessing.  Most or some of these people are not even born again but they produce inventions that help the world and people and make them millionaires and billionaires.  So if you are a born again believer,  what should you be able to accomplish with Christ on the inside of you? Do you think that with the mind of Christ you cannot start and complete a great work or project?  I want to invoke and provoke myself and you to greatness this year.  To bigness!!  Dream of something big and say Lord I am depending totally and completely on You for this.  I need you to show me the steps to take and how We get this done.    Jesus is the Author and Finisher of faith.  Do it in faith and it is done.  IT IS FINISHED!!

“But I am not that talented?”  But God IS!!!  And you are in Christ therefore you are a new creation, the old untalented person has died and passed away.  The new, gifted and unlimited person who has the mind of Christ has come with all new ideas, possibilities and creations.  So go for THE BIG this year and you won’t regret it.  You have BIG POPPA helping and supplying you so guess what?  YOU CAN’T FAIL because LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!!

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH- ABOUT COMMUNION

And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.” Luke 22:19-20 New American Standard Version

I have said it once and it bears saying again.  God is the most purposeful being in the universe.  Everything He does has purpose, reason and GOOD in it.  He has declared that, “We are assured and know that [[a]God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose.”  Romans 8:28 Amplified Bible.  Communion is a thing that God the Father has implemented through Jesus Christ.  It is important that you understand and make a distinction between the bread and the cup as they both have different purposes and functions.

Jesus’s body was broken for us.  The Book of Isaiah tells us the chastisement necessary for us to have peace or shalom(wholeness) was upon Him and with His stripes we are(were) healed.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  Isaiah 53:5 KJV

These are things that happened to Jesus’s body which is represented by the bread.  He said, ‘This is my body.”  When you use matzah which is Jewish bread, it has holes and burns and stripes on it which gives a clearer depiction.  We should always be mindful of the Lord’s body knowing that He Himself bore our sins, sickness and diseases and since He bore them, never be content or comfortable with allowing the slightest symptom to try to dwell or reign in your body.  That thing is trying to get you to bear something Jesus already bore and there are laws, spiritual laws against such things.  Even in the natural there is the law of double jeopardy which says a person cannot be tried or punished for the same crime twice.

Jesus already was tried and judged and punished with and for your sins, iniquities and transgressions.  Do not allow His sacrifice to go by in waste.  Declare, “I cannot be punished for any of the things Jesus was punished for and I cannot be punished with any of the things Jesus was punished with.”

In the same way the cup which represents Jesus’s precious and priceless Blood affords us all the benefits of the New Testament.  It paid for our redemption and the forgiveness of sins.  You should know without a doubt that the Blood of Jesus has covered all your sins, past, present and future.  Jesus said, ” This cup which is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.”  All the benefits, all the power, and all the glory of the New Testament is yours through Christ Jesus and His finished work.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.  Ephesians 1:7 New International Version

I love how the redemption is in accordance to the riches of God the Father’s grace. The Blood of Jesus also helps our conscience. It purges cleanses and purifies it.

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14 KJV

But if within the sphere of the light we are habitually ordering our behavior as He himself is in the light, things in common and thus fellowship we [the believer and God] are having with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son keeps continually cleansing us from every sin.  I John 1:17 Kenneth Wuest Translation

In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people–an agreement confirmed with My blood. Do this to remember Me as often as you drink it.” I Corinthians 11:25  New Living Translation

So enjoy communion daily knowing the benefits and fellowship of it.  Jesus said when we do it, to do it in remembrance of Him.  When you take communion you are declaring, “THE LORD DIED FOR ME!!”

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!
