Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 NET Bible

FAITH IS ALWAYS NOW!  Facts never change THE TRUTH!  Do you realize that whether or not you have a pain or symptom in your body that you are still healed?  Why?  Because God’s Word does not change with things that are not in line with it in this seen realm.  Have you ever uttered the words, “I’M SICK”?  You may have but God the Father has NEVER said that about you.  God has never called you broke (so don’t call yourself that and don’t ever let some ignorant preacher call you that as well and believe it).  God does not see you that way.  Why?  Because of thee Author and Finisher of Faith, JESUS.  If you are born again God sees you ONLY in Jesus.  Is Jesus sick? No!  Is Jesus broke? No!  Is Jesus depressed?  He was in the garden of Gethsamane before He died but not anymore because IT IS FINISHED!!  Jesus already bore every single sin, punishment and or disease for you so that you would not have to.   It’s your job to think speak and act like God the Father regardless of what you see.  You believe The Word of God and you believe it all the time.

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 Holman Christian Standard Bible

Righteousness makes all the difference.  Jesus took our sin and gave us His righteousness, His right standing with God the Father.  Righteousness means right standing with God and it also means what is right in God’s sight.  Sickness and disease is not right and neither is lack in God’s sight.  This is why He provided Jesus and gave us life, health, abundance, shalom peace and every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.  If you look in your life or any of your family members lives and see something that is not right you are a king and a priest.  Where the word of a king is there is power so do something about it.  You have power given to you by and through Christ Jesus.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 KJV

The word power there in the first part of the verse means authority and  in the second part it means ability.  You have authority over all the enemy’s ability.  The enemy has no authority but he does have the ability to lie and to possess people who let him.  But it does not matter,  you have authority over all his ability and nothing shall by any means, hurt, harm or cause you to fail because Love never fails.  This authority is by faith in what Jesus said in Luke 10:19 and 2 Corinthians 5:21.  You must believe that Jesus did those things for you and that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  Faith in God’s Word supersedes everything else even time.  Make a decision to live by faith all the time!!!

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!

  1. Perfectly said, Vincent. And yes, so hard to do at times. A parent’s love is different than sibling love, and since we are all siblings the love we have for one another, especially strangers or non-blood ‘siblings’ can be strained. But Jesus did tell us to be perfect as God was perfect. So I suppose if we are made in the image of the Parent than we should love as a parent, not a sibling. Ooo…that can be difficult, indeed. I suppose if we keep the mind that it’s okay not to like what another person is doing, as long as we see that underneath that disgusting habit, or annoying voice, or rude demeanor, they are a child who needs love, while remembering that we are still working toward our perfection, too.

Happy Thanksgiving, my friend, and thank you,

  2. Marianne,

Yes I know what you mean so many times we want to give people what they deserve. But Poppa and Jesus have not done that with us. It is at times like this that we must remember that God’s LOVE is in us for that person. All we need do is act on that knowledge in faith and it will manifest and melt all of our selfish thoughts and allow us to minister GRACE to that person who is acting ugly.

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:5 NIV

Shalom and all the best to you and your family,

  3. NOW! The Eternal NOW. I can’t use yesterday’s faith or tomorrow’s. Only the faith of now – this moment and each moment. And if I’m tired and my NOW faith doesn’t seem strong enough, then I just keep saying “Jesus” within my mind, focused where I need Him. That happened last night.
