I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.  3rd John 1:4 NIV

I really enjoy reading all the various books of the Apostle John. There’s something different and very personal about them, very telling about the books.  Here in the scripture above John is writing a letter to some of the people that he had taught previously The Gospel  so that they could teach others and he was commending them about what he had heard about them and the people they were now discipling.  He makes a powerful statement that he has no greater joy than to hear that his children are walking in THE TRUTH.   The truth. That is what this site is about: THE TRUTH.  But what does it mean to walk in THE TRUTH. Let’s define that word truth there in that scripture.  The word truth there is the Greek word aleatheia and based on the Strong dictionary it means ….

truth, but not merely truth as spoken; truth of idea, reality, sincerity, truth in the moral sphere, divine truth revealed to man, straightforwardness.

225 alḗtheia (from 227 /alēthḗs, “true to fact”) – properly, truth (true to fact), reality.

[In ancient Greek culture, 225 (alḗtheia) was synonymous for “reality” as the opposite of illusion, i.e. fact.]

I want you to pay close attention to how many times the word reality is used in the definition. In another dictionary the word aletheia is defined as final reality.  If there is a final reality then there must also be a passing reality.  This earth and the heavens we see above is in a passing or temporary state.  Based on The Word of God Who is Jesus you could say it has passed.  Why? Because God the Father said it would.  And anything Poppa  says you can consider it as good and as FINAL as done.  Look at what the book of Revelation chapter 1 says.

And I saw new Heavens and a new Earth, for the former Heavens and the former Earth had departed, and the Sea was no more.  Revelation 21:1 Aramaic Bible in Plain English.

That chapter goes on to talk about the former things passing away, like pain and death and sorrow and crying. It says they shall be no more. Then it goes on to say that those words are FAITHFUL and TRUE.  Then finally in verse 6 if there was anything left unclear it says, “THEY ARE DONE!!”.  Now if you know anything about faith, faith is ALWAYS NOW.  That means that whatever is said is done NOW.  And Jesus made it very clear by saying THEY ARE DONE. Now you may say, “But I don’t see it done.”  We walk by faith, not by sight and if you walk by faith you will see it because BELIEVING IS SEEING!!!

So to wrap up walking in THE TRUTH means to walk by faith. To walk according to what The Word says in every area of your life for every area of your life. This mean that you are not afraid of death in any way, shape or form because Jesus has conquered death to the point where it is no more.  Look at what Jesus told the disciples (and you) to do.

Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.  Matthew 10:8  NIV

Now if Jesus told you to raise the dead, then you must have power and authority over death and sickness and disease.  They look like they are so powerful, so overriding and just taking people out including some believers but that is not truth.  THE TRUTH is death is no more. Death has been conquered and its only functioning and operating under and by the reputation it HAD before Jesus was born, died and was resurrected.  Jesus finished work has conquered death, hell, the grave, sickness, disease, lack, poverty and any other LIE  or passing reality that manifested itself after Adam sinned.  Do yourself a favor and give glory to God.  Walk in THE TRUTH!!! Your life will change for the good and you will see the glory of God’s final reality manifest in your’s and your families life forever.

All the blessed to you! Shalom!!!
