TRUST! It is the foundation of all genuine relationships. So your relationship with God the Father would be no different. The above scripture admonishes us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts. In order to trust someone you have to get to know them. You have to spend time with them. Alone time with just you and that person. This is what happens when we spend time in The Word and prayer When you read The Word, you find out that The Father is really trustworthy. The word trust is the Hebrew word batach. It has the indication of boldness, rest, to lie extended on the ground. It is a reliance upon The Father. He has no plans of letting you go or go down. When you see how God was faithful in repeated situations in The Word, it encourages your heart and mind because you know he cannot change. So do yourself a favor, take minute to Thank God the Father . You’ll find it pays great benefits when you do!
