“Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” John 2:4 New International Version
Do you realize faith has no respect for time? Faith is always now! It has no respect for time. In the Bible whenever you see people operating in faith you see time being shifted and moved forward, backwards or simply stopping. Time is a created thing, it is a work of God the Father’s Hands and since it is you have authority over it. Psalms chapter 8 confirms this.
4what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5You have made them a little lower than the angels(that word angels there is Elohim which is God Himself)
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
7all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
8the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.
9Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is Your Name in all the earth! Psalms 8:4-9 NIV
As believers we need to understand and know and operate in our dominion over time. Jesus did and He said the works I do you will do even greater works because I go to my Father(and your Father). Poppa, God the Father expects us to act like Him and Jesus. This is why He gave you examples of time being controlled from Abraham and Sarah to Jesus doing something that normally takes up to 20 years in a moment when He changed the water to wine. Look at these examples of time being controlled.
Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, “O sun, stand still at Gibeon, And O moon in the valley of Aijalon.” 13So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, Until the nation avenged themselves of their enemies. Is it not written in the book of Jashar? And the sun stopped in the middle of the sky and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.… Joshua 10:12-13 NIV
SPEEDING TIME UP
16When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, 17where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. 18A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. 19When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were frightened. 20But he said to them, “It is I; don’t be afraid.” 21Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.
In the last scripture the disciples were still far from land and in the natural it would have taken them more time to get to the land but when Jesus got in the boat, immediately the boat reached the shore.
Faith is always now. Jesus sped up time and gave the Syrophoenician woman her request because of faith, even though it was not time for Gentiles to be ministered to.
27“First(its time for the Jews to eat not you) let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
28“Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.” Mark 7:27-28 NIV
29Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.”
Faith is always now. You can make things happen now with faith. It’s Jesus’s faith anyway so use it.
All the ‘blessed’ to you!! Shalom
