TRUTH 4 THOUGHT WEEKEND EDITION- ALL THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS

8“The LORD will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. Deuteronomy 28:8  New Living Translation

Hey everyone!!! I hope you are doing well.  Many of us have resolutions goal and things we want to accomplish.  I encourage you to use your faith to aide the manifestation of you God given dreams.   I am sure as God’s creative and industrious people you have ideas and plans of things that are in your heart to do.  There are things maybe that have been on your heart for years and they have never faded away.  These are the things I want to talk about with you.  Many times in church or else where you may be concerned about whether something is the will of the Lord.  It’s easy to find Poppa’s will in His Word.  So lets take a look at what Poppa said about the work and things you do.

8“The LORD will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. Deuteronomy 28:8 New Living Translation

6Wherever you go and whatever you do,
you will be blessed. Deuteronomy 28:6 New Living Translation

12The LORD will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do.  Deuteronomy 28:12 New Living Translation

I want you to notice that Poppa has said 3 TIMES in the same chapter that He would bless ALL THE WORK of your hands.  Now let’s deal with the ridiculousness first.  God is not going to bless foolishness and evil and I KNOW that God’s people are not asking Him to bless evil works.  Love thinks the best so I will not think about that.  Okay enough of that.  Back to DA TRUTH.  Expect Poppa to bless your endeavors, your business, your books, your job, the food you cook.  WHY?  Because he said 3 TIMES He would bless ALL THE WORK OF YOUR HANDS!!

All and only the blessed to you! Shalom!!!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT THE BLESSINGS OF DEUTERONOMY 28 PART 2

1“If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. 2You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God:

3Your towns and your fields
will be blessed.
4Your children and your crops
will be blessed.
The offspring of your herds and flocks
will be blessed.
5Your fruit baskets and breadboards
will be blessed.
6Wherever you go and whatever you do,
you will be blessed.
7“The LORD will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven!

8“The LORD will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

9“If you obey the commands of the LORD your God and walk in his ways, the LORD will establish you as his holy people as he swore he would do. 10Then all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the LORD, and they will stand in awe of you.

11“The LORD will give you prosperity in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, blessing you with many children, numerous livestock, and abundant crops. 12The LORD will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them. 13If you listen to these commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom.

Yesterday we ended the post letting you know not to disqualify yourself from the blessings because what you could not do God the Father has done through Jesus Christ.  Am I implying that you can live like a hellion do whatever you want and still be blessed?  Let me ask you a question, “Is the kindness and mercy of God a blessing?”  I would say it is.  I am not going to answer the question I stated earlier right now because someone will try to misconstrue what I am trying to say.  But I will let The Word of God answer for me.  Kindness and mercy is a blessing from God.  Poppa has offered Jesus to everyone, even those who refuse Him, so they have the same opportunity to be blessed as you do if you are a believer.  Let’s see what The Word says for people who are unthankful and even evil.

“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for He is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.  Luke 6:35 New Living Translation

Hmmm, so Poppa is KIND to the unthankful and the wicked (evil).  That is a blessing.  So now I will answer the question.  Yes a person who may be acting like a rascal, or even may be unsaved can be BLESSED!!!! How?  Because The Word of God says The Father still blesses them and He TELLS YOU TO BLESS THEM!!!

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;  Matthew 5:44 KJV

So if you disagree that a person living a rough, rugged ungodly life cannot be blessed you are not disagreeing with me but The Word.  Sometimes we get so tied up with the big blessings we over look the little ones, like oxygen, like the warmth of sunlight so you don’t freeze.  Poppa gives to the good and the bad.  He always has been and always will be a BLESSER!!!

In the Old Testament it was do good get good, do bad get beat!!!!  Even then He created a way for them to still be blessed by offering sacrifices which was just a shadow of Jesus, the Ultimate Sacrifice.  That is not the case any longer. Jesus took the punishment for all our sins and as a result we have a right and benefit to all the blessings of God because of Christ not because of you or what you do or don’t do.  If it was left up to you and what you do and don’t do, you would be on your way to hell with gasoline draws on and so would I.  JESUS got our bad on the cross and we got all the good, all the blessing that was rightfully His. This is the reason Poppa sent Jesus to connect us back to Him by receiving Jesus and with Jesus FREELY GIVE US ALL THINGS!!!  But like anything of faith they have to be received.  If you are not conscious that the blessings are yours and available you will go without.  If a person is sick and they do not know that by Jesus’ stripes they were healed they could continue on in poor health and even die when healing was available the whole time.

Now hopefully no one today will say, “Jesus wont heal sinners!”  That is not true! When Jesus was on Earth the ONLY people He healed was sinners.  That was all there was to heal.  He had not died yet let alone be resurrected.  So please…. understand because of Jesus’s obedience which was total,  ALL THE BLESSINGS CAN NOW COME ON YOU AND OVERTAKE YOU!!  Read them and eat them, meditate them to digest them and receive every blessing that The Word of God says He has blessed us with.

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT THE BLESSINGS OF DEUTERONOMY 28 PART 1

1“If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. 2You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God: 3Your towns and your fields will be blessed. 4Your children and your crops will be blessed. I have said this many times, “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law but He never redeemed us from the blessings so they are still yours and mine right now.   When you look at this part of this chapter I want you to stop and really pause and think, “Do I really believe I am blessed?”  Are you fully persuaded that you are the head and not the tail and above only and not beneath?  This is an important exercise because you don’t want to deceive yourself by mentally assenting to The Word instead of believing and receiving The Word.  I took sometime to really do this myself and I had to check myself.  When I studied in-depth what The Lord was really saying here it was surprising.  God the Father is very serious about blessing and particularly blessing you.  He has put everything in place thru Christ and His finished work.  Our only job is to believe. Now lets address a few hindrances to believing and receiving that you are blessed.  Lets use the King James Version for clarity.

1And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.  Deuteronomy 28:1-2 KJV

Are you obedient ALL THE TIME? Do you do everything God says and fulfill all of His Laws?  If you say you do, we just identified a problem you may have called lying.  The truth is with the exception of Jesus none of us have or can.  This is why Jesus came. He is our obedience and when you accept Him you get credited with His obedience or righteousness and that qualifies you for all these blessings.  Now when that scripture says “come on you and overtake you” it means exactly what it says.  The blessing comes on you, it never leaves you.  It overtakes you, that means goes before you and causes favor with people and in situations.  The blessing comes with Christ so you should be expecting this each and every second of the day. In a commentary it stated, that the blessings which others so greedily follow after and never get will follow YOU and be thrown into your lap by special kindness.  That kindness is GRACE!!!! Think about that and we will pick up this topic tomorrow.

Alll the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT THE LAW & RIGHTEOUSNESS

Certainly, there is a curse on all who rely on their own efforts to live according to a set of standards because Scripture says, “Whoever doesn’t obey everything that is written in Moses’ Teachings is cursed.” God’s Word Translation   Galatians 3:10

You know with some of the the teachings going on out here it seems some preachers are just giving people “license to sin!”  Have you ever had that thought?  I did some years ago.  Until I found out the truth about the Grace of God Who is JESUS!!!  I did not think I was better than other people but I I did have thoughts like, “I don’t do this or that so perhaps that gave me just a step above others. Not better but just a little more holy maybe. Then I discovered the truth.  The scripture above says that if a person, a believer depends on their obeying the law to put them or keep them in right standing with God they are under a curse. This explained so much that was going on in my life at that time that was founded in erroneous teaching.  I would never wish that any person believer or non believer be deceived in such a way so allow me to make this scripture CRYSTAL clear for you.

So if you were a believer and you think and say, “I am holy!! I don’t go to the movies, I don’t watch any TV except the 700 club, I don’t drink, smoke and never look at any woman in an improper manner and yes Amen!! That is what makes me holy.”  My friend I have some bad news for you. You are under the curse! I did not say this The Word did.  The New Living Translation makes thing ever so clear.

But those who depend on the law to make them right with God are under his curse, for the Scriptures say, “Cursed is everyone who does not observe and obey all the commands that are written in God’s Book of the Law.” New Living Translation Galatians 3:10

Here is DA TRUTH!!!   Lets say you don’t do any of those things I mentioned earlier but you do lie or gossip.   What does that do for you.  Well guess what if you break one of the laws The Bible says you are guilty of all of them.  Let’s make it even clearer.  If a person lies and they are depending on their works and doing and not doing to make them right before God, the one act of lying makes them guilty of fornication, adultery, murder, dishonoring their parents and all the rest of the law.  This is why no man can be justified by the law and God knew man could not keep the law.  If man could then there would have been no reason for God the Father to send Jesus.  Lets look at another scripture.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. I John 1:7  KJV

So the The tell us that we have been translated out of the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of His dear Son.    That is the Kingdom of Light so we are children of light.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: Ephesian 5:8 KJV

So understand we all sin from time to time intentionally or unintentionally and when we do the Blood of Jesus ‘cleanseth’ you from all sin.  That word cleanseth is in the continous sense.   That means Jesus Blood keeps on cleansing you from all sin. Past, present and future sins. Jesus is not bound by time so He was able to cover future sins. All your sins were future sins when Jesus died and he paid for all of them.  His Blood is what makes you righteous not your works or what you do or don’t do,  Alway remember that. This is what is meant when Jesus told us to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness.  We don’t have any righteousness. IT’S HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS that makes us righteous.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NASB

His righteousness is your righteousness and it is the only thing that makes you clean from sin.

All the blessed to you!!! Shalom!!!

JUST DA TRUTH—ABOUT YOUR BODY

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:26 KJV

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Genesis 2:7 KJV

If you believe in the Bible, have you ever wondered, “Why would God make man’s body out of the ground, the dirt?” Why would The Father do that? Well God is the most purposeful Being there is in the entire universe. Everything He does or does not do has a very specific reason and purpose. But, back to our question, “Why would God make man’s body out of the ground, the dirt?”. The answer is easy and the main reason is found in the scripture above.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26 KJV

Did you notice one thing in particular that God gave man dominion over?  Over ALL the Earth.  What is man’s body made out of?  The dust of the ground, the earth.  So you see God made man’s body out of the earth, the ground.  But before He did that He knew that He had already given man  (that is the real man, man’s spirit) dominion over the ground.  The word dominion there comes from the Hebrew word “radar”.  It means to have dominion over, reign, rule and dominate.  So God the Father gave man the power to reign, rule, dominate and have dominion over his physical earthly body.  God never rescinded that even after Adam sinned.  You see Adam lived 930 years with a dead spirit or you could say in a fallen state. How?  The answer is simple Adam did not know death.  He was not familiar with death.  He had to learn how to die. He did not speak death words over himself or his wife. He did not have death knowledge.  He was not intimate with death.

Sure later on, the enemy tempted Cain to rise up in jealousy and anger and kill his brother Abel, but that was an outside trait introduced to people who knew nothing about death.  How can I be so sure that Adam was not ‘death minded’.  Well he lived for 930 years one and two even after God Himself said Adam would die Adam turned right around and named his wife Eve.  Eve means the mother of all living.  So what is my point? My point is people today are really familiar with death. You could say some people are on a first name basis with death.  They invite death into their lives and to take their lives.  Oh sure, they don’t do it intentionally but intentional or not intentional it still has the same effect.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21

Do you mean to tell me I have the power over whether I live or die?  No I don’t mean to tell you that, I am telling you that and more importantly God the Father is telling you that not because He wants you to die but because He wants you to make the right choice, choose to accept His Son Jesus and then learn to speak the right words and live…..forever.  Now the living forever is a whole other teaching.  But my point is you have been given power over your body by God.  You don’t have to be sick.  You don’t have to have arthritis.  And by all means please do not make the situation worse by adding “my” arthritis.  You are not the owner and creator of arthritis, someone or something has or is trying to give it to you and you know what you need to do? You need to stick it back in the mail box and sing Elvis Presley, RETURN TO SENDER!!!!!!

God the Father did not design you or create you with or for arthritis, that was introduced to you later on and somewhere you accepted the package.  Remember your body is made out of the earth and you have dominion over the earth. What you do with that dominion will determine how you live. You can be pain free and healthy at 100 years old. Abraham did it and The Word says THE BLESSING of Abraham is ours.   ‘Well things just happen to your body when you get a certain age.”  That a lie!!

Did you ever stop to think about this:  JESUS’S body is over 2,000 years old today and guess what? It’s not sick, not sore, has no arthritis or any or disease or debilitating symptoms.  ‘Well that’s Jesus!!!’  Really?  I’m going to give you a scripture and sign off right there so you can smell your own armpits.

“This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.” I John 4:17 New International Version

In this world we are like Jesus. You may want to say that to yourself six or seven….hundreds times  until every pain, symptom or whatever that is in your life that you do not want or desire is removed   Jesus died so you can be just like Him. He died to give you everything the Father has through Him.  All you have to do is receive it.  TAKE IT!!!

All the ‘blessed’ to you! Shalom!

“Grace is not a thing its a Person: JESUS!”

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT NOW “IS NOT” THE TIME OF JUDGEMENT, IT’S THE TIME OF GRACE!!!

16Then Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. As usual he went into the synagogue on the day of worship. He stood up to read the lesson. 17The attendant gave him the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened it and found the place where it read:

18″The Spirit of the Lord is with me. He has anointed me to tell the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to announce forgiveness to the prisoners of sin and the restoring of sight to the blind, to forgive those who have been shattered by sin,

19to announce the year of the Lord’s favor.” 20Jesus closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. Everyone in the synagogue watched him closely. 21Then he said to them, “This passage came true today when you heard me read it.”  Luke 4:16-21 God’s Word Translation

Grace and Truth and Jesus are ONE!!!  The book of John 1:14 declares that Jesus is FULL of GRACE and TRUTH.  If you study it out you will find the word and there between grace and truth is in the singular tense. Tense is important. Since ‘and’ there is in the singular tense this makes GRACE and TRUTH ONE!  Jesus is full of GRACE and TRUTH, not judgment.  From many places today we hear believers and preachers declare judgement on people and on whole nations. You hear, “God’s gonna judge America!  or some preachers tell believers in their sermon, “If you don’t do right God’s gonna judge you!!!”  God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are ONE!  Let’s see what Jesus had to say about judgment.

“If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.  There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day.   John 12:47-48 NIV

Here is another scripture from Jesus Himself in multiple versions in John 7:24

King James Bible
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Stop judging according to outward appearances; rather judge according to righteous judgment.”

International Standard Version
Stop judging by appearances, but judge with righteous judgment!”

Aramaic Bible in Plain English                                                                                                                             “Do not judge with partiality, but judge just judgment.”

So Jesus Himself says that if anyone hears His Word but does not keep or believe them, Jesus says HE DOES NOT JUDGE THAT PERSON.  “Yes but Brother Vincent the next verse says the words Jesus spoke will condemn of judge them!!!”  True, but WHEN did Jesus say His Words would condemn or judge them?  At THE LAST DAY!! The last day is after Jesus returns to take us back with Him to Heaven and then The Great Tribulation begins.  We won’t be around during judgment time as believers.  We will only watch from Heaven.  But as for right now Jesus is not judging anyone except the devil who has already been judged.  Jesus states this in John 16:11. Look at what He says here in that verse.

New International Version
and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

New Living Translation
Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged.

So judgement will come but it has not come yet, but the ruler of this world (the devil) he has already been judged not people.

This is why our topic scripture is so  important. Lets look at it again.

Now I want you to pay close attention here because I am going to show you something that proves we are not in the day of judgement. This scripture that Jesus read is from the book of Isaiah.  But did you know that is not the complete verse?  Jesus cut off the scripture and did not finish it on purpose and deliberately closed the book the scripture says. Lets look at the whole scripture.

1The Spirit of the Almighty LORD is with me because the LORD has anointed me to deliver good news to humble people. He has sent me to heal those who are brokenhearted, to announce that captives will be set free and prisoners will be released.

2[He has sent me] to announce the year of the LORD’s good will and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all those who grieve.  Isaiah 61:1 God’s Word Translation

So the next portion of that scripture talks about announcing the day our God’s vengeance or judgement.  Hmm, how come Jesus stopped before he got to that part?  Why did He close the book right after He declared the acceptable year of the Lord which translated means the time of God’s favor and favor is translated there goodwill, not judgement.  Because we are not in the time of judgement but GRACE Who is Jesus.  In the New Testament when Jesus read that scripture, in the Greek it means to proclaim the dektos year of the Lord. Dektos in the greek means the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord. The time when God’s favors PROFUSELY abound. Then Jesus said, “This passage came true today when you heard Me read it.”  He declared it as manifested based on what He read and said. I don’t know about you but accepted and acceptable does not sound like judgement.  Am I saying people can just do what they want and there is no sin? NO!!! There is sin but Jesus has borne ALL people’s sin and is now looking for them to “accept” Him. God is not on a sin hunt, He is looking to be accepted.  This is GRACE!  We are in a time of GRACE where God is extending His GRACE Who is Jesus to ALL!!! Regardless of what they are doing. He is not focused on what people are doing, He is focused on what He has DONE!!!

As believers we must realize and understand the ONLY reason we are righteous is because God credited us with Jesus’s righteousness because you accepted the gift of His Son.  We must be sure to minister that same GRACE to everyone we see so that they will be open to and accept the gift Who is Jesus!

All the blessed to you!!! Shalom!

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT PSALMS 23

Jehovah is my Shepherd, I do not lack Psalms 23:1 Youngs Literal Translation

The Lord is My Shepherd I do not want or lack.  A very familiar scripture…. or is it?   This ‘familiar’ scripture says as a result of the Lord being My Shepherd, I do not lack.  A Good Shepherd leads, guides and feeds.  It is not that the sheep goes around with a backpack on its back full of all the stuff that it has accumulated and stored up trying to feed itself.  The sheep simply trust and follow the Good Shepherd and they are brought into their daily and abundant provisions.  They are brought into green pastures.  They are led besides still and peaceful waters.  And as a result of the right or righteous paths that the Good Shepherd leads them in, their soul is at rest or is restored to rest after being under the guidance previously of a not so good shepherd.

The true focus of Psalms 23 is the Good Shepherd and as a result of the Good Shepherd the sheep lack nothing because the Good Shepherd provides them with EVERYTHING HE HIMSELF HAS which includes HIMSELF.  This is a picture of God the Father giving to us ALL THINGS including HIMSELF in the form of JESUS.  The Bible says Christ has become for us wisdom from God.

It is because of God that you are in union with the Messiah Jesus, Who for us has become wisdom from God, as well as our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.  I Corinthians 1:30 International Standard Version

So since this is true because The Word is truth, you do not ever lack wisdom or righteousness or sanctification or redemption because Christ HIMSELF is all these things and ALL THINGS to you.  If you need protection He is your Protector and protection.  If you need healing He is your Healer and healing.  If you need provision He is your Provider and ever increasing supply.  You need not fear.  Jesus in The Bible constantly admonishes believers and sinners to FEAR NOT!!!!  Why?  Because no expense has been spared to secure your salvation which means your deliverance, prosperity, health and safety soundness.

He Who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things?  Romans 8:32 English Standard Version

So you see the true focus is not that you do not lack things but that because you HAVE (hold, possess) Him you lack absolutely nothing because The Father with Jesus HAS in Grace given you ALL THINGS WITH HIM (JESUS)!!!  When you trust Him as your Shepherd, all things will manifest with Him and you do not lack!!!
All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!

TRUTH 4 THOUGHT- WEEKEND EDITION-OVERCOMING THE WORLD!!

…because everything that has been born of God is constantly coming off victorious over the world. And this is the victory that has come off victorious over the world, our faith. I John 5:4 Kenneth Wuest Translaton

There’s a lot going on in “the world’ today.  Many believers are concerned as well and to a certain degree we all should be but not to the point of fear and worry.  Why?  Because we are in the world but not of the world.  Our health and well being does not depend does not depend on the resources of this world.  Now if as a believer you have no knowledge of this or simply don’t believe that that is true, you may have reason for concern, but allow me to dispel any doubt you may have.  The Word of God says in the book of Hosea, “My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.”  Lack in any form is sin and Romans 6:14 declares that, “Sin shall not have dominion over you for you are not under the law but under GRACE (Who is Jesus).

Our topic text says:  …because everything that has been born of God is constantly coming off victorious over the world. And this is the victory that has come off victorious over the world, our faith. I John 5:4 Kenneth Wuest Translaton

If you are born again, you are born of God!!!  If you are born of God YOU ARE CONSTANTLY COMING OFF VICTORIOUS OVER THE WORLD.  “Well, Brother Vincent, my life sure does not look like I am coming off victorious over the world.”  I understand but this is where you have to make a decision. Are you going to believe your circumstances or The Word of The Father.   The issue may be, “Do you believe The Word?”  You may be what Brother Copeland calls mentally assenting to The Word or agreeing with your mouth but not really believe it in your heart where it matters.  Do a test, check your mouth an thoughts.  What have you been thinking and saying about circumstances that don’t line up and agree with The Word?  Look at this verse.

Who is he who is constantly coming off victorious over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? I John 5:5 Kenneth Wuest Translation

You will probably say, “I believe Jesus is the Son of God!!”  Okay great!! Do you believe that Jesus has conquered the world?  He told you He did.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV

If your were a growing fetus inside your mothers womb still and your Mom was eating Wendy’s that day for dinner, guess what you would be having for dinner?  WENDY’S.  Why? Because you are in your Mom and whatever your Mom is getting or ingesting is what will be passed to you.  If you are a believer YOU ARE IN CHRIST!! Since you are in Christ ALL that CHRIST IS AND HAS AND HAS DONE IS YOURS!!! His overcoming the world is your overcoming the world. His victory over the world is your victory over the world. Believe that and you will walk in victory in every area of your life. God the Father has given you the victory thru your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! Receive it!! Take it!!!

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Co

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT REDEMPTION – PART 2

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians 3:13-14 King James Version

Yesterday, we took a look at redemption and we defined it and found out some of the primary things that we are redeemed from.  These things are poverty, sickness and death.  But there are also some other things that you may find interesting that we are redeemed from.  As promised, I will also be sharing with you some of the things that we are redeemed to.  One of the things we are redeemed from is a lack of knowledge.  Most people know the scripture in Hosea that states my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.  So how does this particular redemption take place?  Because just like we no longer have to concern ourselves with trying to become righteous, wisdom is now a part of the package deal that comes with Jesus Christ.  Let’s look at the scripture that shows us this.

It is because of God that you are in union with the Messiah Jesus, who for us has become wisdom from God, as well as our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.  I Corinthians 1:30 International  Standard Version

So from this scripture we see that God through Christ has not only made us righteous but He has made us wise, and sanctified us and redeemed us.  Now I want you to think about something as it pertains to wisdom.  Many of us believe we ARE the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  We believe that we are righteous right here and right now.  Let’s look at the reason we believe that in addition to I Corinthian 1:30.

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.  2 Corinthians 5:21 King James Version

So this scripture tells us we have been made the righteousness of God in Him(Christ).  We confess and believe that. I normally confess daily that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.    Well I Corinthians 1:30 says Jesus has become for us wisdom.  In light of that we need to be confessing that Christ has become for me wisdom and that we are redeemed from ignorance and unwise decisions.  When you look at Jesus, He was never caught off guard or in the dark in any situation.  Why? Because He has wisdom from God and that scripture says He has become the same wisdom from God for us.   Something can be yours but until you claim it and exercise your rights to it it will not be of any value or use to you.  So being bought out of ignorance and darkness are a part of our redemption package in addition to righteousness and sanctification which is being set apart for a special use.

Now I want to show you something that The Holy Ghost showed me personally. I never heard it from a preacher, I just happened to be studying one day on our opening text and I saw this as clear as day.  Let’s take a look at our opening text again.

Look at the beginning of the scripture, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law,..”.    If you read Deuteronomy 28 verses 15 thru 68, all the curses are listed there and then some.  It is a horrible list and I thank God we are redeemed from that list.  You should take the time to read it to make sure none of it is illegally operating in your life.   But I do not want to focus on that right now.  Many times you can get fresh revelation from God thru Jesus by way of the Holy Spirit by paying attention not only to what The Word is saying but also by what The Word is not saying.  Allow me to explain.  The scripture in Galatians 3:13 says, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of he law.., but did you ever notice that there is no where in The Word that says, “Christ has redeemed us from the blessings of the law“?????

Oh this is good. Some critics will say, “Well you say you are not under the law (and we are not) then you can’t have any of it. Good, I don’t want the law if thats not what God has for me but I will take THE BLESSING(S).  You see Christ never did redeem us from the blessings of the law only the curse of the law.  So THE BLESSING(S) are still yours!!!!  Glory to God!!!  Let’s prove that.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  Ephesians 1:3 New American Standard Bible

So God through Christ has blessed us with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.  Now don’t let that “spiritual blessing in heavenly places” throw you off.  It’s not spiritual that you can’t touch or get or access until you get to heaven.  The word spiritual there is the greek word pneumatikos  which means belonging to the Spirit, or emanating from the Divine Spirit.  Where does wisdom emanate from?  The Holy Spirit from Christ and we just shared that Christ is made unto you wisdom right here and right now.  So this is not blessings you cannot use until heaven.  This means that EVERY spiritual blessing including the blessings of the Old and New Testament which falls under THE BLESSING of Abraham which is mentioned in Galatians 3:13-14.

The benefits that come with redemption are powerful, and not only are they powerful but they are ETERNAL.

He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.  Hebrews 9:12 New International Version

So not only do you have redemption through Jesus’s blood but ETERNAL REDEMPTION.  The word eternal there is the greek word aionios which means age-long, unending, inside of time, outside of time and beyond time. Your redemption is eternal so you can be confident, bold and at complete peace because of Christ.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  Colossians 1:14 King James Version

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom

JUST DA TRUTH – ABOUT REDEMPTION-PART 1

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.  Galatians 3:13-14 King James Version

Redemption is such a beautiful word and act, especially when you dig into its origin and true meaning.  It  is a word and definition that every believer and unbeliever should know.  The word of Gods tells us in Psalms 107:2 to let the redeemed of the Lord say so.  But let’s look at another version of this scripture to give us more light.

Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story– those he redeemed from the hand of the foe Psalm 107:2 New International Version Let those who have been redeemed by the LORD declare it— those whom he redeemed from the power of the enemy, Psalm 107:2 International Standard Version

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy; Psalm 107:2 King James Version Now I left the last version of Psalm 107:2  unbolded for a reason.  The King James Version is the version most believers are familiar with.  It says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…….”.  I want you to see that the word so is in italics which means it was not there originally but was added for clarity.  But it tends to take away from the true meaning.  When you take away the word ‘so’, it goes to a comma then makes another statement.  It’s almost like the Holy Ghost said, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say ___________, whom  He has redeemed from the power of the enemy.”  And really that is what is supposed to happen.  Now, God is the most purposeful being on the planet and He does not do anything without a reason or a purpose.  So in order for you to fill that blank in you would have to know what the Lord has redeemed you from specifically.  Now I know that the rest of the scripture says, “whom He has redeemed from the power of the enemy, however that is very general. Let me ask you, are the things that happen in your life that affect you the greatest very general or very specific?  In most cases they are very specific.  So when you know the things that you are redeemed from it gives you a greater level of boldness and confidence because when something happens you can quickly identify and say, “No I am redeemed from sickness!!”  Before we go into some of the things you are redeemed from we should first make sure we understand what the word redeemed means.  The word redeemed comes from the Hebrew word exagorazó which means to buy up, ransom, to rescue from loss.  It is actually two words the first being ek which means “completely out from” which intensifies agorázō which means to “buy-up at the marketplace”) – properly, take full advantage of, seizing a buying-opportunity, i.e. making the most of the present opportunity (recognizing its future gain). Let’s say you went to a car dealer and you heard they were going to stop selling GM Hummer H2’s (which they have).  Let’s say I am a billionaire with a strong affinity for Hummer H2’s and I decide I am going to buy every single H2 on the market that is in production.   Once I have done that, if someone shows up who wants to buy a Hummer H2 they cannot get one.  Why?  Because they have been bought completely off the market.  They are no longer available for purchase.  If someone desires one they have to come and see me and maybe I will sell them one for a small phenomenal fee. LOL.  Well this is what Jesus did when He redeemed us.  He bought us completely off of and out of the market of sin and death and all the things that are associated with it.  If the enemy wants a to buy a piece of you He has to go to Jesus and guess what?  JESUS AIN’T SELLING!!!      That means that sin, death, the curse and all the things that Jesus Christ has redeemed us from cannot affect you any longer legally.  Let’s revisit our opening text.

So we see here that Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.  The curse of the law involves three primary areas that include poverty, sickness and death.  So you are redeemed from poverty in all of its ways shapes and form which include lack and shortage.  You are redeemed from sickness and that means all sickness and all disease including germs and viruses.  Lets see what God the Father said about poverty and sickness so you can know what is yours.

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want (the word want there means lack) Psalm 23:1 King James Version The LORD will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt,…….  Deuteronomy 7:15  New International Version He said, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and keeping all his decrees, then I will not make you suffer any of the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”  Exodus 15:26 New Living Translation

Now please understand in the Old Testament, you had to be obedient in order for the Lord to bless and heal you and provide for you.   In the New Testament JESUS has fulfilled all the law for us and we get the benefit  of all that He has done.  Because Jesus was obedient, His obedience gets credited to our account just like His righteousness.  We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. On our own we have NO RIGHTEOUSNESS.  It is extremely important to understand what we just went over so that the enemy or a uninformed preacher does not talk you out of the finished work of Christ. Lastly Jesus has also redeemed you from death. Death here is eternal death or spiritual death which is eternal separation from God.  Death does not have any authority over you. Do you mean I can control when I die. YES you can!!  In Christ Jesus you already died and since you died once death has no authority or power over a dead person. Let me ask you this, if a mosquito with HIV bites a dead person, what affect will it have on that dead person?  NONE!! They are already dead.  Death gets it power through sin.   The Word of God says we have been freed from sin. I know it sounds crazy and spooky and ghostly but it’s not.  IT’S DA TRUTH!!!!

Knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for he who has died is freed from sin.  Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.   Romans 6:6-9  New American Standard Bible

You may wanna read that again.  It’s a lotta TRUTH to digest.  You are IN CHRIST! Since Christ has been raised from the dead and you were raised with Him, He is never to die again and death no longer is master over Him and since you are in Him death is no longer master over YOU!! So you have been redeemed from the curse of the law of poverty, sickness and death in all of its ways shapes and forms. When I say all of its way, shapes and forms do you know what I mean?  You need to because death takes many shapes before it gets a person to the shape of laying still in a coffin.  Did you know that chronic fatigue is a form of death. Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not saying being tired is a form of death, Jesus Himself was tired at times and needed rest as we all do. I am talking about being tired all the time.  Waking up tired.  That’s a form of death. Something is constantly trying to sap a person’s energy.  But you know now that Christ has bought you out of that legally.  But legal rights must be exercised.  Let me ask you a question.  Is it illegal for people to break into other peoples homes?  Of course it is.  But do people still do it?  Yes!!  Same thing here.  You have a legal right to be free from sin and death everyday every single second of the day but the enemy will still try to come illegally and steal your health, life, energy, finances etc.. So what do you do?  You fill in the blank that we talked about earlier.  “Let the redeemed of the Lord say “I am redeemed from chronic fatigue!!! I am redeemed from debt and lack!!! I am redeemed from sickness and disease!!!”  Because your words are God’s Word, they must be obeyed. And you need to know that you are redeemed from destruction and terror.

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;  Psalm 103:4  King James Bible Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.  Psalm 91: 5-7 King James Version

We will finish this up tomorrow. Don’t miss it because you need to know that there is not only somethings you have been redeemed from, but there is also somethings you have been redeemed to.

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!
