So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 New International Version

If you ever had a “symptom” of something, I want you to pay close attention to your mind when it happens. Does your mind immediately go to “By Jesus stripe, I were healed!” or do you ask, “Oh man, I wonder what this is?” The truth is it does not matter what it is. If it is a thought or a reasoning or something that is trying to exalt itself against the knowledge of God that is really all you need to know. Just understand that if you are a believer and a symptom of any kind shows up, whether it be in your physical body, your finances or your marriage the purpose of that thing is to lie to you and get you to agree with what you are feeling or even seeing instead of what The Word says about it.  Remember this: you having a symptom or not does not change God’s Word. God’s Word changes symptoms and circumstances.

The Word of God says in I Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wound you have been healed.” If a cold or cold symptom show up, understand that’s a lie and it is vying for your agreement. Its trying to see if by chance you will accept it. As a matter of fact and truth the word symptom means a sign of the existence of something especially something undesirable. The actual orgin of the word sympton is the Greek word sumptoma which means chance. But Jesus has not left the health of your body to ‘chance’. He already secured your perfect health with every whiplash and beating he took before going to the cross. As a matter of truth, the Kenneth Wuest Translation of the New Testament translates every word and its meaning directly from the Greek so that you can get a vivid picture of what happened.

“Who Himself carried up to the Cross our sins in His body and offered Himself there as on an altar, doing this in order that we, having died with respect to our sins, might live with respect to righteousness, by means of whose bleeding stripe [the word “stripe” is in the singular here; a picture of our Lord’s back after the scourging, one mass of raw, quivering flesh with no skin remaining, trickling with blood] you were healed.” I Peter 2:24 Kenneth Wuest Translation.

I want you to notice it did not say, ‘By doing everything you suppose to do, you were healed’ It does not say, ‘By keeping all the commandments you were healed’. Am I against keeping the commandments? No but you need to know as a New Testament believer, you are not under the law but under Grace. That does not mean you just go live any kind of way. Once the Grace of God is a revelation to you, you will only love Jesus more because HE IS GRACE! GRACE is not a thing its a Person and that Person is JESUS!!! The One who took the beatings, the spitting, the sickness, the disease, the lack for you. For you it is free but for God the Father it is very costly as it cost Him His Son.

So see it this way, when a symptom tries to see if you will take a chance and accept it remember that SomeOne paid more than untold trillions of dollars for you to NEVER be sick another day in your life. Do not let the enemy play you like a slot machine and pull the handle of your mind and God’s wheels come up with BLESSING and FAVOR and the enemy calls out SICKNESS and DISEASE and then sits back to see if you will accept it. Since I am using this analogy I will just continue and please, I am not condoning or promoting gambling but, God has already designed The Way for you to roll sevens, every time all the time. With the enemy you will simply be shooting craps. Jesus never left you to be a victim to symptoms or to chance, His Way is sure each and every time. He wants you to know that no matter what the world throws at you, you already have the victory because of what He has already done. And that my friend is confidence not chance.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 New International Version

All the ‘blessed’ to you! Shalom!

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 King James Version

JESUS is great!! And all the power that He has and all the power of His Name belongs to YOU!   We get many questions from time to time from our readers and as we can, we post answers from The Word of God to those questions.  Recently one of our readers ask, “Why did Jesus have to be born not of man but a virgin and the Spirit?”  It is such a great question full of so much revelation and inspiration to show the glory, goodness and never changing nature of God Our Father and Jesus.  So let’s begin with The Word of course.  Ultimately though Jesus was a child and became a man, His ultimate purpose was that of a Lamb.  The Old Testament is a type and shadow of what The Father ultimately planned for us in and through Christ. So lets take a look at how lambs were used in the Old Testament. At that time, they had to have a lamb for Passover and for the covering of their sins. But it could not be just any old lamb.

Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. Exodus 12:5 English Standard Version

So we see here that the lamb had to be a young lamb and without any defect or blemish. It had to be male as well and a certain age. If you study it the lamb had to be checked as well for a number of other things as it could not have any scurvy, or skin disease or twisted testicles.  In other words as close to perfect as possible.  It had to be their very best. They also had to keep the lamb in the house with them for a certain number of days. This caused them to grow close to the lamb and the children to play with the lamb and be fond of it.  But when the time came the parents and eventually the children knew that the lamb would have to be sacrificed and killed which made it all the more difficult to do.  So what does this have to do with Jesus?  EVERYTHING!!!!

I believe that one of the things many Christians and Believers do not understand about God our Father is that HE HAS FEELINGS!!!  He is not run by His feelings yet He still has them.  Imagine The Father spending millions of years together with Jesus His Son as The Word.  Then He choose to have Him sent to Earth knowing full well what would happen to Him.  Do you see the correlation between the earthly lamb and the Heavenly Lamb now?  Now let’s get into the answer to the question.

This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:18 New Living Translation

So let’s look at some science that backs up Bible Truth.  Scientist have known and do know that the baby while in the womb receives NONE of the mother’s blood.  This is very important for JESUS. The Father did this in His wisdom a long time before this ever actually happened. The baby receives all of his or her blood from the father through their seed or sperm.  Now as for as the food, the baby receives its food and nutrition from the mother.  Since this is the case and Mary became pregnant literally by the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of God the Father Himself, then The Blood of Jesus is literally The Blood of the Father Himself!!!!  Very powerful, very deep but very true.  This is what makes it so powerful and so precious and so important.  This is what gives it it’s ability to take away sin because it is God’s pure Blood untainted by sin that was in the blood of humans from Adam.  If it had been from Joseph it would have been tainted and had no power to cover and or wash away sins.

Now lets talk about Mary being a virgin. Just like those lambs were untouched and never had sex with another lamb so they are undefiled and unblemished, Mary’s virginity played an important role as she had been kept by the Lord for this sanctified use.  She was a chosen vessel by God the Father Himself and was highly favored.  Now understand something. Sin is not apart of humanity. It never was!  It crept in after satan tricked Adam and Eve. Some people teach that sin is a part of humanity which is incorrect. Sin is a product of the fall of humanity in the Garden of Eden.  So since Jesus was born by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit produced His Blood, everyone knows your life is in your blood.  Take all your blood out and you are dead. So there was no sin in His Blood, only LIFE the way God originally created it.

For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh. Romans 8:3 NIV

So the key word in that verse above is the “likeness” of sinful flesh.  Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh but there was no sin in His flesh.  Why? Because God did not create the flesh with sin in it so therefore he was born the way God intended all men and women to be.  He looked just like us but was different than us. Had Jesus had sin in His flesh or blood he would have been as powerless as you or I to redeem us from eternal damnation.  But Glory to God that is not the case!!!  You see in the verse above the The Father sent Him to be a “sin offering”.  Now go back to the earthly lamb, it could have no defects.  The same for Jesus but on an absolutely perfect level.

You should know and be very confident about these 3 things about Jesus:

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV

Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: I Peter 2:22

And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in him. I John 3:5 New Living Translation

So Jesus knew no sin, did no sin and there is no sin in Him!!!

This is a powerful truth that every believer needs to have in their “knowledge of Him” arsenal!!!

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom

Those rich in (this) present age charge (them) not to be high-minded, nor to hope (or trust) in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, Who is giving to us all things richly for enjoyment;  I Timothy 6:17 Young’s Literal Translation

Merry Christmas to everyone all over the world.  Whether or not they have received it, the gift of JESUS is available to every man and woman ever born so that they can be born again.  Today as you go about I sincerely  encourage you to ENJOY this day.  Pause and simply enjoy “this day“.  The scripture above says that God, Our Dear and Loving Father has and is giving us ALL THINGS for enjoyment.  So I encourage you to enjoy your life, enjoy your health, enjoy your wife, enjoy your husband, enjoy your children, enjoy your family, enjoy your food, enjoy your home, enjoy your cars, enjoy the gifts you have been given.  When we enjoy the things we have been given we are enjoying GOD THE FATHER and  JESUS because every good and perfect gift comes from and thru Them.

The word enjoy or enjoyment is the greek word apolausis.  It means to have enjoyment of a particular advantage or benefit.   The first part of the word apo means ‘away from‘ and the last part lausis or lauo means enjoy. It conveys being appreciative in such a way as to look ‘away from’ what is not right and ‘enjoy’ the benefit of what is being offered.  It also means to take pleasure or delight in and to urge someone to take pleasure in what is being offered or is about to happen.  These definitions are vital to ‘enjoying’ richly all that the Father has offered us in and thru Jesus.  Why?  Because Christ Jesus IS our life.  By the Father giving Him and by Him offering Himself on the Cross, He or They as One have given us richly all things for enjoyment so that we can look at all things with great joy. Even if things are not perfect in the seen realm remember the enjoyment is the Greek word apolausis and the apo there means away from.  Look away from the sickness or lack or whatever negative thing you may be temporarily experiencing and ENJOY Jesus’s healing and abundant provision which “He has GIVEN (not going to give) to us richly for our enjoyment.”

The Bible talks about two types of things in the New Testament. It talks about “all things” and then it talks about “these things”. Let’s look at it briefly. Let’s look at THESE THINGS first.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?  Romans 8:35 English Standard Version

37 No, in all ‘these things’ we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-38 English Standard Version

If you are facing any negative circumstances and you are a believer, The Word of God declares that ‘in all these things”, while you are in them YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR THROUGH HIM WHO LOVED US!!

Now lets look at ALL THINGS.  Notice how the questions about ‘these things’ are answered.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He Who did not spare His Own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him(Jesus) graciously give us ALL THINGS? Romans 8:31-32 English Standard Version

What this scripture is saying is that if God the Father gave us His best and most precious Gift, His very Own Son Whom He Loves, how will He not along with Jesus GIVE US ALL THINGS?

So when we tie the opening scripture of God the Father giving us richly ALL THINGS to ENJOY together with Him freely or in GRACE giving us ALL THINGS  RICHLY TO ENJOY the picture becomes very clear.

  • You have been given ALL THINGS in and through the Gift Who is JESUS!!
  • You have been given ALL THINGS to ENJOY!!!

Be sure to ENJOY ALL THINGS and look ‘away from’ these things knowing that you are MORE THAN A CONQUEROR through Him that loved Us.

Merry Christmas!!! May Christ the Prince of Shalom dwell in your heart by faith and rule and reign making you INJOY Him and give you a prosperous, healthy and JOYFULL New Year!!

All the “blessed’ to you! Shalom!!!

I am sure the title makes you want to quote Gary Coleman from Different Strokes.  “Whatchu talkin’ bout Willis?  I know what you mean. But look at this scripture…..

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for He (God the Father) is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.  Luke 6:35 King James Version

Wow!!  God is kind to the unthankful and the evil.  The people that blaspheme His Name, say He does not exist, and think His Name is a compound word with damn.  God the Father is kind to them.  So how are we suppose to be with them?

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;  Ephesians 5:1 New American Standard Version

The Father does not want us to be like the world.  The world responds to people with the law based thinking and responses.  “You treat me bad, I’m gonna treat you bad.”  That is the law all day.   But look at The Father.  Now understand, for you The Father does not see your sin, or acting ugly because of Jesus’s Blood.  But for sinners He sees their ugliness and ungratefulness and evil and is still kind to them.  The word kind there is the greek word chréstos.  It means to be useful, pleasant, gentle and kind, one that furnishes what is suitable.  We have a great Father and a great God and a great Lord in Jesus Christ.  Jesus operated and functioned this way and because of it religious people called him a “friend of sinners” in the Bible.  May you have that same title and accusation for the glory of God and the increase of the Kingdom.  Not to go out and be like them but to be a light and win them to Christ.

The Word of God is constantly admonishing us to be good to others whether they are good or evil.  THIS IS GRACE.  God was good to us when we were only evil.  While we were yet sinners He loved us and sent His Son to die for us. When people treat us good it is very easy to be good and nice to them.  But it takes the love of Christ to be kind and loving and courteous to someone who has mistreated and dogged you.  But we can do all things through Christ which strengthens us.  Jesus would not tell us to do something and not give us the power, strength and will to do it.  I will share a rarely known scripture with you that when I found it I was like, “Who then can be saved?”  But I have kept it in my mind and heart for years and I am getting better and better at it especially since learning about GRACE.

Remind people to be submissive to [their] magistrates and authorities, to be obedient, to be prepared and willing to do any upright and honorable work,

To slander or abuse or speak evil of no one, to avoid being contentious, to be forbearing (yielding, gentle, and conciliatory), and to show unqualified courtesy toward everybody.                                      Titus 3:1-2 Amplified Bible

Man this is a tall order in the natural.  We live in a mostly critical, negative-minded world.  That scripture says to slander or abuse or speak evil of no one.  But the part that punched me in the kidneys was the last part.  To show unqualified courtesy toward everybody.  Yes you read it right, it said EVERYBODY!!!  Do you understand what this means?  This means that the person who does not qualify for courtesy is the person The Word says you are to show courtesy to.   Trying chewing on that this weekend.  The rude person that steps in front of you at the mall.  The car that cuts you off in traffic.  When your wife says something a little edgy, respond with courtesy.  I can tell you I just flunked that test recently. Thank God for His GRACE.

So your challenge this weekend is to be kind to the unthankful and the evil and to show unqualified courtesy to EVERYONE.  If you can do it great!! If you miss it, keep meditating that Word and get up and go for it again. Trust me, unthankful, evil and discourteous people are not going anywhere just yet so you will have plenty of opportunity.  So step up to the challenge! The key is let Christ do it through you.  His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

All the “blessed” to you!!!

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

In the same way, after the supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you. Luke 22:19-20 NIV

Communion.  When you look the word up in the dictionary it explains the definition as a sharing of intimate thoughts and feelings.  Communion for us as believers however is so much more!!! It is interesting to see that Father God forbid people in the Old Testament to drink blood.  But in the New Testament Jesus directly express that His Body is meat indeed and His Blood is drink indeed.  The reason why God said they were not to drink the blood was because the “life was in the blood.”  Take sincere thought about that because God never changes and today because of Jesus’s Blood we have LIFE, real life spiritually and physically.  The Blood also has and is the cause and reason for our redemption and forgiveness of sins.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace  Ephesians 1:7 NIV

Another scripture reveals that this redemption is not temporary but ETERNAL.

With His own blood–not the blood of goats and calves–He entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.  Hebrews 9:12 New Living Translation

We also receive the  benefits of The Lord’s Body which was broken for us.  This breaking was from head to toe and the worst part was not done by man but by God the Father Himself as He punished Jesus for OUR sins.  All of the Father’s wrath was released upon Jesus’s Body in addition to the crown of thorns, the beatings which stripped every ounce of skin off of Jesus’s back making His back one big stripe.  By that stripe we were healed.  By all the things He suffered He succored once and for all our eternal salvation, eternal redemption, our eternal inheritance and eternal life.  That Life is the greek word  aionios which means to have the same quality of life as God Himself.  This is what Jesus’s sacrifice and death, burial and resurrection has purchased for us.

Jesus said as often as you do it do it in remembrance of Me.  This does not mean to just think about Jesus wonderful Savior.  This means to remember all the beatings, the  thorns, the fiery judgement of God that was placed upon Him while He hung and all that He took for YOU!!!   Then realize because Jesus has already been punished with all those things you can never be punished with sickness, disease, poverty, lack and any other curse of the law or evil things.  The Passover is a type and shadow of communion but it only used a lamb.  But by doing that the children of Israel came out rich and not one feeble person among them regardless of age or what their condition was prior to the Passover and their Exodus from Egypt.  The Lord told them something very interesting to do when they ate the Passover meal.

These are your instructions for eating this meal: Be fully dressed, wear your sandals, and carry your walking stick in your hand. Eat the meal with urgency, for this is the LORD’s Passover. Exodus 12:11 New Living Translation

In other words once you eat this Passover meal be ready to be delivered and step out of Egypt immediately.  This is the same way that we are to do today.  When you take Communion because of the finished work of Christ be sure to take it from and with an attitude of your victory that has already been given you in Christ.  If you have a physical challenge take it KNOWING you are healed!!!   If you have a financial challenge take it declaring and KNOWING that God the Father HAS supplied all your need and dreams and desires according to His riches in glory.  Why? Because on the Cross Jesus became poor to that you might be made RICH!!! He became sin so that you would be made righteous.  You are not going to be righteous YOU ARE!! If you were not Jesus could not have been raised.  The Word of God says He was raised for our justification or being made righteous.  Be sure to rightly discern the Lord’s Body and that does not mean checking yourself to see if you have any sins or anything against anyone.  That is an erroneous teaching. To rightly discern His Body means knowing what His Body has bought and purchased for you and that is complete and total SHALOM.  All your sins have been forgiven and covered by Jesus’s Blood.  So take Communion conscious of Jesus and all that He has done and provided for you.

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews 9:12 King James Version

There are so many things that The Blood has afforded us, the list goes on and on and something we  will not find out until we are with Jesus Himself.  But there are a few things I want to point out to us today.  The first one is eternal redemption.  The word redemption comes from the greek word apolutrósis.  This word means a release effected by payment of ransom.   When you redeem a coupon at the store some has already paid the fifty five cents or so you may be saving.  Redemption also means to buy back.  God through Jesus’s blood bought us back to Himself.  A price had to be paid and Jesus paid that price.

In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.  Hebrews 9:22 New Living Translation

Jesus’s priceless blood provided the means for our sins to be forgiven.  Without that blood, there is NO forgiveness of sins.  Its very plain and simple without that blood we would still be in our sins.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;  Ephesians 1:7 King James Version

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Colossians 1:14 King James Version

This redemption and this forgiveness through Jesus’s blood, this was given to us not because of anything we did but simply because of His Grace.  God’s Grace is comprised of His Love, His Kindness and Favor.

The Blood of Jesus cleanses and also reconciles thing back to their proper order or original design, relationship or intention.

For God in all his fullnes was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself.  He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross. Colossians 1:19-20 New Living Translation

Never underestimate the power of The Blood.  It is precious to God.  Make sure it is precious to you.

All the blessed to you! Shalom!!!

Here is a spiritual poem the  I wrote about The Blood a few years ago.  I hope it impacts your consciousness.

The Blood

Purest of pure

And cleanest of clean

Working mighty works

Since it came on the scene

The Mighty Blood of Jesus

Cleanses and corrects

Fulfilling it’s duty

To save and protect

Covering covenant children

Setting sinners so free

His Blood shed so freely

For you and for me

Only by God’s Love

Could He pay such a price

Executed alongside sinners

And made the risen Christ

O’ who now among us

Would give up his life

Paying for others sins

And carrying their strife

Who would be able,

To resist the allure

Of the things he resisted

And still remain pure.

Hallelujah!!! By the Blood

We’ve all been set free

And are able to be called

As righteous as He!

All the “blessed” to you!!!

“1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.  5And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6And he also said, “It is finished!” Revelation 21:6 New Living Translation

One of the main things that believers must understand about The Word of God (which is Jesus) is that things are not done when they are seen or appear to have happened.  They are done as soon as God speaks.  God’s Word is so powerful that as soon as He speaks it, BAM!  It is finished!!!  I want to prove this to you by our opening text.  Many believers think that the things in the book of Revelation are for later but, close examination will show you that many if not all of these things are already done and available to the believer who sees what Jesus said and believes and receives it.    The first verse says,  “I saw“.  Is saw past tense or future tense?  The next verse says, “The old earth had disappeared.”  Here is a secret.  Do not allow time to rob you of the TRUTH and PRESENCE(presentness) of God’s Word.    The main key to deciphering and understanding The Word is The Word Himself: JESUS.  Jesus has authority over time and this is how he forgave all your future sins over two thousand years ago.  Time is subject to Jesus.  Jesus is not subject to time and neither are you, if you believe it. Let’s move on to the third verse.  “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them”  Do you realize and know that God lives in you?  Are you conscious of that every second of the day?  This is not a future tense scripture.  God lives in us now.  We are the temple of God.  We are God’s people now.  God is with us now!!!

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23 KJV

God is with us now and forever through Jesus Christ.  You see once again how Jesus is at the center and the reason why God is with us.  Lets move on to the fourth verse.  “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”  Have you had situations and circumstances where they seem so overwhelming and you did not know how you were going to make it but God came through and fixed it?  That is God wiping the tears from your eyes and removing sorrow and pain and even death.  The believer has no concern about death any longer.  Why?  Death has no more dominion over them because they have died already when they were born again.

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?  Romans 6:3 KJV Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.  Romans 6:8-9 KJV

Death has no more dominion over Jesus and you are in Him, so death has no dominion over you.  The Word of God says in I John  4:13 that  as He (Jesus) is, so are we IN THIS WORLD!!!  Not when we get to Heaven.  And the remainder of the fourth verse in Revelation 21 says all these things (tears from your eyes, sorrow, pain and death) are gone forever.  Learn to see things the way God sees them.  How do I know that this is true?  Once again the answer is JESUS!!! When Jesus was here on earth, He constantly wiped away tears from peoples eyes by healing the sick, raising the dead, giving back sons to their mothers, daughters to their fathers(Jairus), brothers (Lazurus) to their sister’s(Mary and Martha).  When Jesus came in the house and Peter’s mother in law was sick with a fever Jesus laid His hand on her and healed her and she instantly got up and start making dinner.  No recovery time, no rest after being sick.  She moved from down with a fever to instant health, life and vibrancy.  Now lets look at what Jesus said about us in regards to these works He did.

I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.  John 14:12  New Living Translation

Now in conjunction with what the verse above just said lets look at the last two verses of our opening text.

5And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” 6And he also said, “It is finished!”

So you have Jesus saying that you will do even greater works than He did after He goes back to The Father.  Has Jesus gone back to The Father? YES!!  He is seated at the right hand on the throne.  And the One on the throne said, not going to say, “Look, (in the King James it says Behold which means look at here), I am making all things new.  We are NEW TESTAMENT believers not old testament.  Then he says, “Write this down for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.  The word is is present tense and the word true in that verse means truth or reality.  And if that is not enough he makes it even more clear about all that He has just said in the preceding verses by declaring, “IT IS FINISHED!!!” Be conscious of this.  Believe this.  Receive this and you will SEE THIS!!!

All the “blessed” to you!!! Shalom!

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And  he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  Revelation 21:3-6  KJV

Do you realize how many things are now complete, done and finished because of Jesus?  If you don’t you could wind up waiting to get things in Heaven that are available and yours to receive right now.  Jesus’ finished work is so amazing and full it takes deliberate and accurate reading to really see that what appears to be meant for later is a finished work and on the menu for order now.  Let’s look at today’s topic scripture and The Holy Ghost and I will show you what we mean. John starts this scripture of talking about he saw a new Heaven and a new Earth.   This tense seems to definitely put this in a different time.  However verse three uses the word ‘Behold”.  The word behold means ‘look or look at here’.  That means there is something to be seen right now.  Next it says the tabernacle of God is with men.  One of Jesus’ Name’s is Immanuel. That Name means God is with us.  Colossians also says, “In Him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the God head bodily.  So Jesus Himself is a tabernacle for God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.  The remaining portions of verse three continue to state things that have already happened.  Doesn’t God already dwell with you through Jesus Christ?  Aren’t we already God’s people?  Yes, in fact we are His Children.  We already established that God is with us and He is already our God.  Now lets move on to verse four.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Think about this? Haven’t you had situations where God has wiped the tears from your eyes. He delivered you and brought out and turned that situation around and healed your body.  The main reason for no more tears is that you are born again and delivered from eternal damnation.  You have passed from death unto life because of Christ.  Look at what Romans 6:9 says.

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Romans 6:9  King James Version.

If death hath no more dominion over Christ and you are in Christ then death hath no more dominion over you.  Verse four goes on to say there shall be no more sorrow, or crying, neither shall there be any more pain. Why?  Because the former things ARE passed away.  ‘Are’ is past tense.  After this Jesus Himself speaks.

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

Jesus says in verse five that, “Behold, (Look) I make all things new.  Then He told John to write because these words ARE faithful and true.  Faith is always present tense, not going to be.   Then if you were not convinced already, Jesus seals the deal and says, “It is DONE!!”.  The same words He used in the last few minutes on the cross.  It is finished.  This is a revelation in the book of Revelation.  See it the way Jesus sees it and to you it will be done.  No more sorrow, no more pain.  Don’t take one pain big or small in your physical body.  He said the former or old things have passed away.  They are gone.  Don’t wait until you get to Heaven to receive the benefits of eternal life.   Eternal life is yours right here and right now.  Believe and receive!  Amen!!

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom

For all The Fullness of The Deity dwells in him bodily. And you also are completed in him, who is The Head of all Principalities and Powers  Colossians 2:9-10 Aramaic Bible in Plain English

Have you ever heard or said, “Well, nobody’s perfect!”  Sure you have, we have all said it probably at one time or another.  But let’s see what God’s Word says about it because that is the thing that matters.

The LORD will perfect [that which] concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, [endureth] for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. Psalm 138:8 KJV

The word perfect in that verse is the Hebrew word gamar.  It means to end, come to an end or complete.

Since the law has only a shadow of the good things to come, and not the actual form of those realities, it can never perfect the worshipers by the same sacrifices they continually offer year after year. Hebrews 10:1 Holman Christian Standard Bible

The word perfect in the above verse is the greek word teleioo.  Very similar to the Hebrew word gamar.  Teleioo means to  to bring to an end, to complete, perfect, to consummate, bring to its end stage.  The verse shows the greatness of the New Testament versus the Old as it says that the law could never perfect the worshippers(you) because it was just a shadow.

For he found fault with them, and he said, “Behold, the days are coming, says THE LORD JEHOVAH, and I will perfect a New Covenant for the family of the house of Israel and for the family of the house of Judah.” Hebrews 8:8 Aramaic Bible in Plain English

We are of the house of Judah just as Jesus was and it is through Him that we are of that house.  We are also spiritual Israel.  The Lord Himself here says the New Covenant will be perfect and it is.  He never said that of the Old covenant.  So what we have is a multiplicity of scriptures that talk about us being or becoming complete or perfect.  How is that?  Because the New Covenant is all about and all for US.  So what does this have to do with you with all your apparent faults and mistakes and missteps?  EVERYTHING!!!  Because you are in Him, in Christ Jesus, The Word says YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM. Not that you are going to be but you are.  The law could never make you perfect but Jesus Who is GRACE and TRUTH has made you perfect in and through Himself.  It’s not based on what you done or have not done.  Look at this scripture

In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what He suffered  Hebrews 2:10 New International Version

God the Father made Jesus the man PERFECT through what “HE” suffered.  Not what you suffer.  You have no business suffering because He already suffered for you.  If we all were going to suffer, then Jesus could have stayed at home, saved Himself the beating, the spit, the crown of thorns and everything else.  Because Jesus was made perfect and you are in Him YOU ARE PERFECT!!!!

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world. I John 4:17 KJV

By this Love(God the Father) is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because just as Jesus is, so also are we in this world. I John 4:17 NET Bible

So our love is even made perfect through Jesus.  Our perfection is in Christ not in ourselves. So if Jesus says you are perfect, who are you going to believe? Are you going to believe Him, the world or yourself?

All the ‘blessed’ to you!!! Shalom!

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. I Corinthians 2:13 New International Version

What makes the The Bible, The Word of God so powerful?  A very simple truth.  The Bible is not just pages and ink and words.  The Bible is not something, its SOMEONE: JESUS!!!  That’s right! The Word is Jesus.  But Jesus is a person and has a flesh and bone body (He had a flesh and blood body before he was crucified).  Yes, John 1:14 says “So the Word became human and made His home among us.”   So do you see what The Word just said?  The Word became human…..  I am going to tell you something that every person on the planet needs to know saved or unsaved. If they did it can change their entire life and the lives of their family.  Whether you believe it or not every single thing you see and even the things you don’t see with your physical eyes were created by WORDS!!!

One has only to read the first book of Genesis to understand this.  And God said (spoken words),”Light be!” and Light was. Now I am not talking about the Sun because if you read a little further you will see that the Sun was not created until the fourth day.  But that is another story for another time.  But lets talk about WORDS or The Word.

In the beginning The Word already existed.
The Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He existed in the beginning with God.
God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.

John 1:1-4  New Living Translation

So you see here from the book of John,  EVERYTHING was created by God through The Word.  How did God do this?  He does it because His Word has POWER!!!

No word from God shall be void of power.  Luke 1:37 English Revised Version

You see, every word from God has power in it to bring itself to pass.  Imagine if every word you said came to pass.  People play with words.  They say things like, “Oh I love her to death.”  Now imagine that if that persons word was like God as that person continues to love that individual eventually their love would cause that person to die.  God said, “Light be!” and He meant it, He believed it  and it came to pass and was made manifest and  He saw it and said it was good.  If this sounds like make believe its not. People do this everyday. They talk to things everyday either negatively or positively.  People talk to plants to help them grow.    There are proven scientific test that show when people speak positive words to water it affects the formation of the water or even ice crystals.

The Bible is not just any regular set of words, each and every word was carefully crafted and released by and through men who were under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of God.  Now many people say “the Bible has changed people have added to it.”  And you’re right. When you look in a King James Version Bible and you see words in italics that means those words were not there originally and were added for clarity.  Does this mean The Words is not dependable, absolutely not. This means remove those words to get the true meaning.  Also please know that the Old Testament was written originally in Hebrew and the New Testament was written in Greek.    So you need to study these things out to find out whats really being said.  You study and practice to get good at your job.  You take the time needed to become proficient at things you enjoy or value or have a career in.  How about investing some time in something that will benefit your spirit, soul and body and not only yours, but your families.

Hebrew and Greek are very different languages. There are some words in Hebrew and Greek that do not even translate to English.  So what do you do?  You obey The Word.  What does The Word tell you to do with The Word?

Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15  King James Version

Since the Holy Spirit inspired the writings, then He is the One Who can teach you about what God said and what God meant.

But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true–it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.  I John 2:27 New Living Translation

Since God is the Author and The Holy Spirit dictated to men of God what was being said, the Holy Spirit can teach you what He said and what He meant.  This will give you the same power as you speak The Word of God in faith as God Himself.  When you take God’s Word believe it and speak it, it has the same power and result as if God Himself did it.  So make a choice to believe The Word and act on it, SPEAK IT!! Then see good things come into your life!!!

All the blessed to you!!! Shalom
